I used to like this game (and franchise) so much as a kid, it wasnt as complex as they tried to make it but it was a really enjoyable experience, encouraged creativity a lot!

This was probably the coolest thing ever when i was 10, 7 years later, it still is the coolest thing.
Game crashes a lot, the contrast between gameplay types is jarring, but even so, the game is very charming and fun, and all of the gameplay styles are fun, with the space one being a little lame at the start but really opening up later on

cell stage & animal stage are peak, tribal is aight, and everything else suck balls
Una excelente idea donde desarrollas tu propia especie y la ves transformarse a lo largo de miles de años. Era extremadamente divertido el creador de criatura y 2 de los 5 estilos de juegos. Pero, justo eso fue lo desafortunado de este experimento, son 5 juegos en uno y pues algunos son más divertidos que otros. Una idea genial, que espero algún día retomen corrigiendo los problemas que tuvo en su inicio.

Note: Don't install the mod named "YourMom". It just turns every text in the game to "Your Mom".

Just install dark injection, auto save and some graphic patches, and tweak some game files to skip the intro and unlock your FPS. On top of it all, install Reshade and you have the ultimate Spore experience.

Apparently there was a lot of hype around this game and a lot of broken promises but I missed all of that and just played it because it was the funny creature making game. A lot of fun. Tribal era fucking sucks though.

just started this game and I really enjoy how the creature stage is 99% walking around looking for body parts to form more interspecies friendships, but also you can't use those body parts so you have to tediously go around killing other species for DNA points to use the actually good body parts otherwise you simply can't make any friends. really not a great thing to put so early into the game

Um jogo que expressa em sua completude a teoria da evolução de Darwin, é tão fascinante jogar esse game, criar seu personagem, ver sua espécie evoluir de uma simples célula para uma criatura que domina e explora o espaço. Por ser um jogo relativamente antigo a única coisa que pode te incomodar é os gráficos, que não evoluíram muito bem, fora isso eu não tenho o que reclamar, é uma jornada incrível. Recomendo a todos como um jogo obrigatório no currículo de todo gamer.

Totally unique game, almost abandonware? It's actually almost not even a game, but it is a very nice sandbox.
We are gods, we create, control the evolution, and play as our creations. Later they evolve into smarter creatures, they grow, they create tribes, and so it goes. The fun is endless, I just recommend saving the game often, because it sometimes crashes.
