Some of these levels fucking suck but it's also more of Hotline Miami so who cares

I’d say the first half of Hotline Miami 2 is great, but the second half becomes quite frustrating, and ramps up difficulty to the point where memorization is required in place of my apparently slow twitchy reflexes and precision. Levels with dogs in the dark was just annoying. OST is significantly better and the duel-wielding is killer, Death Wish is a great level. Overall, prefer the sequel.

Ottimo come il primo. Perde in originalità (è lo stesso gameplay con gli stessi problemi) ma ne guadagna in ambizione e lucidità.

one of my, if not my favorite game of all time. the ending song still fucks me up hearing it. the pixel art is gorgeous, the general visuals and vhs aesthetic leans into its non linear and purposefully confusing story that can be open to lots of interpretation. for example, what the hell is up with the phone calls? or jacket appearing in people’s visions as if he was a god like figure. it’s an amazing game series everyone needs to experience at least once

the best sequel ever. hotline miami is a fantastic game, and hotline miami 2 sets a new bar of excellence. the soundtracks in these games are amazing, the gameplay is amazing, and everything the games mean to convey is done in a clever and enigmatic manner.

Prefiro o primeiro jogo mas esse tem mais história, personagens, armas, inimigos e completa o enredo do jogo anterior.
Leva de 3 a 10 horas pra zerar.

Unfortunately not as good as the first game. My theory is that the maps here are much bigger, and the fast paced, reflex based gameplay is more suited to close quarters than the spread out and open maps this game has.

i got a feeling i wont rate this as high and will write an actual negative review , until then all i need to say is that the off screen enemies are bullshit 99.91% of the time
