I like the sequel more than the original game. Music is better (to my taste), gameplay is pretty much the same, the plot is "somewhat" there, but you still need wiki or youtube to understand it. If you liked the first game - you'll like this one too

While being about the same as Hotline Miami 1, this one offers a more grounded and focused experience, with a difficulty curve that I will admit is a bit harsh at first, throwing what is quite possibly one of the most difficult levels in the fourth level. If you are willing to learn, and change your tactics and style of play based on each level, you will have a lot of fun with this game. Very nice music also.

Ngl not having jacket being the MC or not even playable kinda fucks up the vibe of the series a lot But at least the story is still pretty good. Music is very solid just not as good as the first game. Playing as the different characters that have their own pros and cons throughout the plot is like a novelty effect. At first your like oh this is cool but with the the level design of certain missions it quickly becomes a fml situation. Game is still pretty good though and worth a run and if you play payday grab that special edition on sale so you can play "jacket"
Simplemente, un espectáculo. No puedo decir que lo prefiera al original porque para mí es un hito de los videojuegos como pocos ha habido, y tiene una de las mejores bandas sonoras recopiladas jamás (creo que este también, siendo justo), pero aquí se da un paso hacia delante en casi todos los demás apartados, además de tener una historia que escala a la velocidad de la luz con un final para recordar siempre.
Una de las mejores franquicias de siempre y nada conseguirá que cambie de opinión.

Honestly I was just really bad at this game and therefore didn't find it fun.
I don't know or care about the plot. I just came to punch some dudes to death like in 1.
Had some fun when i could use Tony or The Son (punchy style or whatever), the rest of the time it was really tedious, too many off screen shootouts. I hated the war levels in particular, and the rest of the time it wasn't much better.
A dog got stuck behind a plant in the final level and i almost had to restart but luckly i managed to choke it through the wall.
The soundtrack is still great at least.
Just replay the first game instead.

Only recommend if its close to the sale i go it for. I got this for $2 and to me, thats about what its worth. Its not as replayable as something like party hard and i think the first one was better as this one jumped the shark. Way harder than it is enjoyable too. Was a rough one to beat. Gave me a good first half and then a bleh 3 hours or something

Oh my god this game is hard! I love it but it also pisses me off so much!
I don't replay it as much as the first since the difficulty is just way more intense and I always get really mad about getting shot by someone off screen.
The story is really good though and makes it worth pushing through at least once.
