Game slaps. Fire music, lot of areas to explore, and actually difficult boss fights. I remember struggling HEAVY back in 2013 at some of these boss fights ( the final boss especially). There was a lot of bad too tho; some of the dream areas sucked, and there was a boatload of dialogue. Still a classic from the 3DS era.
Dream Team is an interesting game, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who's getting into Mario & Luigi. The final boss is the only part that kinda sucked to me, but everything else in the game made up for it. It's quite long as well, so keep that in mind if you're interested in trying it out.

An underrated masterpiece! Basically my favorite one of all the Mario & Luigi saga! I felt hype when I battled Giant Bowser and Dreamy Bowser, not mentioning that Dreamy is IMO the best Bowser's form ever existing! The story overall was perfect for me, the OST was litteraly LIT!
Maybe I'll play the difficult version one day XD

I'm biased but this game is incredibly creative and the gameplay continues to be satisfying to this day. It is genuinely underrated and underappreciated, especially serving as an introductory RPG. My nostalgia and the fact it got me into RPGs (and turn based gameplay) as a whole is what makes me look past it's flaws (which are almost entirely pacing related) and consider it a masterpiece.
Despite this game not really being long for RPG standards, it drags on for WAY longer than it needed to. By the time I got to Somnom Woods I was ready to be done. There's also a weird balance where the Dream combat and Overworld exploration are really good, but the opposite parts of each are comparatively boring. Cool lore, really nice aesthetic and a fantastic soundtrack, but the story padding and odd gameplay balance really killed my enjoyment for this one.
Not done with it yet , but it's kind of amazing how long I've been playing it for and I still haven't finished one file yet (and what i mean by this is i got it in 2019) . According to my stat logs on my 2DS , it says I've played for over 60 hours and yet I only recently got to Bowser's Neo Castle .. every time I pick up this game I put it away for a good few months before trying again , I don't think it's this game's fault , but it's more so my incompetence of solving puzzles . I stopped playing the game for over a year because in one of the dreamy pii'llos you save , I couldn't figure out you have to push a box with the fan luigi so you could jump on it and hit the ... block that restores a pii'llos conscience or whatever it is it's been so long I've forgotten lmao . I also think I'm under-levelled , so that may also be a factor in my difficulties . I will finish this game some time but it'll probably take another 5 years before I do . Of what I've played through , the story is ... okay ? I hate Starlow , I hope she dies , and I've heard this is one of the games where she's slightly nicer to Luigi and that makes me mad , Dreambert is boring , Antasma is kind of funny actually he amuses me . How the heck did anyone not struggle with Pii'llodium that thing was so hard ???? And then everyone is like 'the zeekeeper fight was the hard one' no it wasn't I replayed that one twice actually because it was just that fun . Oh btw the soundtrack ? I LOVE ITTT 'Never Let Up' is amazing I could listen to it for hours and I have , SSBU , shame on you for adding ... uh i actually can't remember which theme it was , but they chose a CLEARLY INFERIOR THEME (i think it was try try again , which is fine , but come ON NEVER LET UP IS SO GOOD)
Look, the Year Of Luigi did amazing things for the green mustachio’d underdog, and finally pushed him in the spotlight front and center where he belongs, right next to his older bro
