At least this Mario Kart wannabe tries to be original with some fun gameplay mechanics. The story and dialoge is doo doo though. Big's only character trait is that he's retarded.
I didn't have a clue who Kao the Kangaroo was until very recently when I discovered he was getting a franchise reboot, it looked really fun, and since I'm a platformer fanatic I wanted to give the old games a try. Although rough on a few edges here and there, still a quite solid 3D platformer. I'm still confused as to why the Kao the Kangaroo series hasn't gotten more recognition compared to similar platformers that came out around the same time, because it surely has it's own personality and identity.

I unironically really enjoyed this Mario Kart clone.
It functions like any other arcade racer and it always worked as I intended it to. It was quite easy even on the hardest difficulty. Also, who the fuck is this Ryan?

"8 games in 1" sounds pretty good until you realise half is just minigames. I sure had a good time playing it but it changes up the core mechanic way too much to the point where there's no consistency.
Still love Kirby and I so look forward to the 3d Kirby coming out in 2022. More anticipated than God of War: Ragnarök, which is the sequel to one of my, if not my favorite game of all time.

Skylanders IS my childhood, I was, therefore, terrified to revisit it once again, as it might not turn out to be as good as I remember. But fortunately, those scary feelings steadily faded away. Obviously not as fantastic as I recall it to be since I had romanticized these nostalgic memories, but great nonetheless.

The Gunk is as gunky as the title suggest, not that it’s bad, just very mediocre. And because it’s a Swedish made game, it hurts me when it doesn’t hold up to a better standard.
The gameplay feels pretty much the same throughout the whole playthrough. Upgrades barely do anything major which in turn makes scavenging kinda useless. Environments can be lush and beautiful but is for the most part just dark and dull. Also, one other thing I kept wondering is how Rani and Becks could communicate with these aliens despite not being able to read their language.

I can’t believe myself, that I start of the new year 2022 by re-playing fucking Knack. A universal claim is that Knack is smellier than dog shit, which something I now agree with. But once I used to like Knack because I used to be a degenerate child. Also, I’m very proud that I beat this childrens game in ”hard”.

The ass voice-acting is what kept me from potentially enjoying this emotional story. It's unfortunate because its visuals are good looking and it runs smooth.
The gameplay on the otherhand is lackluster. There really isn't anything to it other than jumping and throwing a flare.

Forza Horizon is as fun as it always has been but it has grown old and it just feels overly recycled at this point. The only thing that got me coming back are the Showcases but there's unfortunately only a handful of em' and I feel like they weren't as polished or highly scoped as FH4s'. The amount of activities is overwhelming and they keep piling up as you progress. Even after my completion of the main campaign, I still have 85~% left to do, and I don't intend to even try completing them all.
Mario Kart Super Circuit shares with Super Mario Kart the title of worst Mario Kart games. One major reason being the graphics which just doesn’t cut it for me. It just looks like a clusterfuck, and the steering is flawed.
The only positive point I can bring up is that both of these games have given us great tracks that have been re-visualised and remade into great new tracks in recent MK titles.
