Insanely good game that holds up incredibly well today. Sure it's simple compared to most Metroidvanias now, but that simplicity allows the world and atmosphere to really take center stage. It's one of the best-looking and best-sounding games of all time and genuinely one of the best gaming experiences you will ever have. Nothing quite compares to Super Metroid.

(Also this is the first time I've ever beaten it in under 3 hours. I'm so proud of myself :) )

This is the best Castlevania game as well as one of the best Metroidvania's I've ever played.
