2024: Year of RPGs

I planned to spend 2024 diving into RPGs old and new, and play as many as possible. As someone who never experienced the classics as a teen, I decided to take the time to finally discover what I missed.

Was an amazing introduction to RPG horror games. I loved the violence, puzzles, ambience/horror themes, and story.
Loved it a lot. The RPG aspect wasn't very fleshed out, but the story was enjoyable and I had a great time.
Not a huge fan of it, but the visuals are amazing. Puzzles weren't too difficult, but seemed insignificant. At times things were going too fast, and I just could not figure out the plot. Save placement mixed with unskippable dialogue/cutscenes was the main detail that gave me trouble.
I can't say I hated it, but it really isn't good. Level design is terrible, dialogue can get awkward, and sfx can randomly become too loud. But there are good jokes and likeable characters.
Can't say I really liked it much at all. I felt lost the entire time until I just watched a video walkthrough to finish the story. I would have never been able to solve some of those puzzles if someone didn't give me the answer.
Not great, and required a guide most of the way. Had a few clever moments though.
