Only checked out it because it was on Gamepass. I knew it wasn't my bag, but wanted to see what had captured the entire internet's attention. Survival + whatever Pokemon is classified as are 2 genres I don't care for at the best of times and Palworld is definitely missing something special to make me want to plunge a ton of time into. This is lizard-brainy (I don't mean that as an insult) - within 30 minutes I chucked on some podcasts and it was a very undemanding and relaxing few hours. I can see the appeal and why so many of my friends are loving it. Not for me.
Expected to love this as a Battlefield veteran, but it definitely requires a group of friends and proper communication to succeed. The destruction is great and I enjoyed the very quick games, but there isn't much here if you aren't after the team experience. Also is this game riddled with cheaters? Certainly feels like it.
