All I can say that it was amazing, I was in the middle of my first Dark Souls 1 play through before I started this on a whim just to see how I’d like it and just wow. I got hooked immediately and the sheer size of the world always left me with something to do and because of this the exploration was my absolute favorite part which makes sense since I always spent the most time exploring the world instead of progressing throughout the story 😅. The exploration and the world aren’t the only good points of this game as the lore and combat are also a strong point of elden ring, there’s a lot of versatility that comes with the combat system and the class you choose in the beginning doesn’t lock you into a specific combat style so even if you dislike the class you chose you could always switch the type of combat style you're oriented towards through the respec feature you gain during the early game. The lore of this game is also amazing, I’ve heard that it’s weak compared to the lore in dark souls and that alone shocks me as the lore elden ring is a LOT to say the least. The game is rife with lore in all corners whether it be through questlines spread throughout the world or item descriptions and seeing them connect is honestly a sight to behold. Right now I’m on my 3rd playthrough and about to plat the game despite that it doesn’t fill me with any less desire to play it despite me probably doing everything the game has to offer. If you’re still on the fence about this I definitely recommend you guys give it a try as it’s shot it’s way up to being my absolute favorite game.
