I enjoy the game despite many of it's flaws, it's a really fun fighting game once you get the hang of things (except when there's lag in online mode).

Now that the game has a lot of content and a somewhat better online (at least on my end), I do recommend giving it a shot. Though it's up to you if you want to invest in it like I did.

I cannot stop playing it because of how fun the game is and how much experimentation it allows. You got 6 characters to choose from and all of them are enjoyable in their own unique way and I keep switching between campaigns when I feel like playing as one character or another.

I highly recommend it, especially with friends.

Also, the French dub is my favorite way to play the game, whoever thought of casting Christophe Lemoine (French voice of Cartman from South Park) as Handsome Jack is a genius.

I wanted to like that game, I really did.

I'm a huge fan of Skullgirls and when I heart that the team behind it were making a Metroidvania RPG game, I was genuinely excited, but when I got to play it 4 years later I never found myself liking it.

The characters were bland aside from their designs, the gameplay was boring, the world is not interesting for me to explore. I honestly gave up playing it because I never found myself giving a damn about the story and I didn't enjoy the gameplay.

I would give it another shot if it gets a new major update that fixes the gameplay problems and adds more content, but all those plans were cancelled thanks to REDACTED being a bad person.

One of the best video game remakes of all time, it truly is what the team wanted the original to be if it weren't for the PS1's limitations.

It's a Shinji Mikami masterpiece, what more can I say?

I like the game less and less as time goes on but it's still pretty decent gameplay wise it still holds a special place in my heart because it was the game that made me realize video games are art.
