ALRIGHT!
The first in the WarioWare series, a collection of games I hold near and dear to my heart. This game on the other hand, is not as close to that heart. It's certainly got that WarioWare spirit, but there's just not much of it! Seriously the game's really small! I know that's an odd complaint for a WarioWare game (I mean, their entire shtick is minigames only a few seconds long) but when Microgames are being repeated through out multiple levels, I feel like they could have added just a few more. Gameplay aside though, this games presentation is amazing. It has some massive early 2000's vibes and the reused Wario Land 4 music fit the strange vibes perfectly. Overall, it's a decent package, I just still felt hungry after playing it.

When my friend first showed me this game during study hall, I had no idea the level of impact this series would have on my life. I've played all of these games multiple times, and while the puzzles are mostly variations on themselves, the charm of the story and characters propelled me through. Not the best in the series but a strong start.

Feels like all the track designers simultaneously lost bets to each other

Ehhhh it's an important game to look back on but it has just not aged that well.

So the HD rumble really had to work with this game, lol.

It’s rather lewd and you’re massaging the ladies, and yea, you get what you paid for I suppose!

*-*

It’s a very cute VN that’s very laid back. The cat ladies Vanilla and Chocola are cute characters and being set in a cafe gives it charm. But it is very laid back so not much really happens in term of story. It’s a good afternoon game if you can pick it up on sale.

I’ll give it two stars because this has some power fantasies when you think about it, but man it looks like a terrible game lol.

Bubsy sucks, I hate it, it's a terrible game and a terrible character. The fact that I know that gaming publications praised this game and it even received awards will always be the bane of my existence.

For an actual critique, it's a confusing and bland Sonic the Hedgehog ripoff. The level's have different branching paths and alot of the times don't make sense and adds to the confusion. Bubsy himself controls like he's been standing on oil for YEARS. And if you fall off from a slightly high enough ledge you WILL die, which is a ridiculous thing for any platformer to have. He talks....and i hate it, its super cringe even during the 90s. And the music is garbage and it's the same crap you would here from any other bland platformer of the era.
Gross Game, very Icky.....blah!

Fuck Microsoft, fuck Phil Spencer, fuck the entire gaming industry, and you know what, fuck gaming in general. I'm gonna go try a different hobby.

Apparently even when you develop one of the most unique and beloved games in years you’ll still get shut down. Fuck Xbox and all these western publishers who seem to be shutting down studios and laying off thousands just for the hell of it.

Robot Arm Guitar Hero

Edit 05/09/24: RIP Tango, Microsoft you're monsters

It's a really crappy pinball game that is hard as hell to beat, but also it's incredibly fun. The stages are interesting but also frustrating, and the mini games that happen can kick you in the ass. If you're playing this on the Genesis Collection with a save state/rewind ability, then the game is a hell lot more bearable.
Regardless, I loved the game as a kid, still love it as an adult, no matter how glitchy it is.

Huh...this one is so strange, because there are moments where I'm loving the game, it has branching paths, the secrets are neat, the level designs are interesting. On the other hands, this game had me rage with its boss fights and the later level felt like they went on forever!

Then there's the music, some or great and I can listen to them any day of the week. Then there's the rest of the music that can potentially have my hair fall off!
There's a decent game here but it's really really hard to overlook the bad, because it can be REALLY bad!

For a rouge lite, this was a joy to play! Having to fill up the palettes with color chips and coming up with weird ways to make your setup stronger was a thrill for me. I'm just....not good at it at all lol.
I think I only got up to the 20th or 22th floor myself, but i enjoyed what i was doing in it. I will definitely come back to it eventually, and maybe I'll have a training arc and git gud!!

One of the few times I ever got my mom to play a game with me and it was boxing on Wii Sports...it was quite memorable(and hilarious).
Very good selection of sport games that are easy to come back to, even now. Personal Favorites were Golf, Bowling, and Boxing. They were simple but pretty deep and fun to master.
But that memory is what holds this game up so high till this day, great game that anyone can pick up and play!
