I played the first super smash bros back in 1999 when it came out on the n64. My buddies and I loved it. It was so fun. So eager for a follow up. Then in 2001 we here about the Nintendo game cube and see that Smash is coming! We were stoked! The graphics looked amazing and you could play as Bowser! Our 12 year old minds were blown away. Eventually I get it, pop it in and was treated to orchestral music and one of the best intros in a game ever! We were amped.we played adventure mode, classic, mode, multiplayer and next thing you know, it had been hours. Melee was an instant classic.

As a sequel this game added so much more content. You got all the old characters plus plethora of new ones including, Bowser, Peach, Faldo, Mewtwo, and more. There was classic mode, a new adventure mode, and a event mode. There was tons to unlock and the first appearance of trophies. Collectible figurines with tons of Nintendo trivia. The gameplay is fast, janky, and fun. There’s a reason this game still has cult following.
