It is hard for me to find the right words for Dead Space.
Back then I think I liked it more than the Remake.
Why is that so? I don't really know to be honest. I think it's fair to say that the World of Videogames has evolved since then and I have, too.
Dead Space has not. At least not much. Which may be a good thing if you a are fan of the original.
But to me it was a lot of backtracking. Over and over again. It took me ~ 15 hours to beat. After 8 hours I had the feeling I have seen almost everything.. some things repeat over and over. And by then you already know exactly when the enemy will spawn from behind and when they throw 6-7 enemies at you.
And at this point I was quite fed up with Ishimuras design (steel, darkness and flickering lights for almost 15 hours).
Sure: If you love SciFi-Horror this may be perfect for you.
But to me it was more of the same, over and over again.

Don't get me wrong: The graphics are absolutely up to date and the sound is amazing.
They did a good job bringing an PS3/360 Game into 2023.
But I think I had a wrong idea of what to expect here. In the end I think I have changed my taste of games over the last couple of years so that Dead Space is not my IP anymore.
I have high hopes for RE4 and SH2. They will be more up my alley.

Imagine what kind of game you would do as a 14 year old. And Bright Memory Infinite is exactly that kind of game.
Shoot, shoot, shoot. And you can change the skin of Shelia.. into tight jeans, a bunny outfit and of course swimwear.

The graphics are amazing but everything else is "forgettable".
And it took me only 2 hours to beat.

Vermintide is the kind of game I would not pay attention to if it was Singleplayer only.. but playing this thing with 4 people online is fun!

After every mission you can roll the dice to see what your reward is (aside from exp). The "higher" the dice - the better the loot. You can add more dice if you find books (up to 3) that are hidden in every mission.

You can craft new weapons which is good but it will take some time.
So in 80-90% you have already finished the game once before the crafting really becomes important.

We started on easy, changed to normal and it took us ~ 10-12 hours to see and beat every mission.
But since there is harder difficulty and with that better loot, we will come back at some point.

Overall this is a nice L4D alternative. We got it for 3€ on Steam sale and it was totally worth it.

This is the Final Fantasy that brought back the epicness, happiness, sadness I have been looking for since FFX on PS2.

Is it perfect? No. It has some parts I would like to skip If I will ever replay this game (the last 2-3 chapters).
Especially the "Highway Part"(to avoid spoilers) was pretty meh.
It also has some backtracking and sidequests that are there to strech the overall lengh. I skipped 50% of them.

BUT what the Game does really well is "the people" Aerith, Jessie, Cloud,... I care for them.
A feeling that I felt rarely when playing a Videogame.
Also the new Combat works totally fine for me. Sure.. heavy Boss Battles can become kinda trigger-heavy when you smash the same 2-3 buttons for 15 mins. But you can save almost every time you want as long as you are not in a battle or a cutscene.
And while we already mentioned the Cutscenes: Wow they are good. The Game Changes from cutscene, to ingame-cutscene to gameplay smoothly. If you know the Advent Children movie you get a good idea of the overall look of the Game.
Midgar and it's industrial look sure is no eyecandy but the Game somehow makes it enjoyable to watch.

I enjoyed 95% of my ~ 30 hours and I'm happily looking forward to Part 2.

I enjoy when a game lives up to it's hype. God of war does so many things the right way that some of the flaws (which it has not many) have little to none weight.
I enjoyed the story, the gameplay and most of the world.
I'm glad that it is not filled with stupid fetch quests. Almost every quest feels rich and adds at least to the worldbuiling or father/son relationship.

But to be a 5* game it should have been more impactful to me. It is great but it is not perfect. I'm looking forward to Ragnarök!

It's OK. Actually it could be a nice soulslike but it is too short. You'll have max. upgraded flasks in under 6 hours and you saw almost the complete game in under 10 hours.
For every other genre that's fine... But soulslikes should at least have the 2-3x lengh.
Thymesia always feels like it COULD be great but it does not try to be great. Therefor it is only OK.

If I had to rank the Soulsborne titles this game has to be in the lower half of them.
Sure Bluepoint wanted to stay true to the original PS3 game and in this regard they did not fail. It looks and sounds amazing!

BUT the core material was far from perfect. Maneater Bossfight is buggy, King Allant is waaay to easy to be the final boss, Item management is aweful and the level structure has been done better by any other Soulsborne Game.

Can you have fun with this Game?
- Sure. Hours and hours.
Would I prefer DS, DS3 or Bloodborne?
- Yes!

To me this game is nearly perfect.
The feeling you get when doing the perfect drift while "magical sound shower" is smashing loudly... man it does not get any better than this!

Wow I hate this Game.
To be honest I don't really think that Nioh is a Bad Game, but it is frustrating as hell.
Nioh does what DS don't. It is unfair at times - a thing DS never was.
You get pushed into death by an enemy that was not visible (happened maybe twice in DS but it is standard in Nioh), there are small bridges where you can fall to death easily and Nioh put's large enemies (3x your size) in front of you. They have to hit you once and you're dead but you have to hit them 6-8 Times. All while being Shot by enemies from distance.
Then there are the side Missions which are basically 80% the same levels you already finished but in reverse. I think that's lazy.
Then there is the fact that you can only learn certain skills If you visit the dojo and complete the tutorials... I think that's kinda annoying, too.
Than there is the fact that I'm not into the monster design...

Nioh has it's good ideas, sure.
But after 20 hours I decided that I will not waste my time any longer in a game that TO ME had more negative aspects than positive ones.

I hate to admit it.. because I really wanted to love frontiers.. but I don't.
First the PROs:
- These "old" levels where you have to collect all 5 red coins or have to finish in a specific amount of time.
- The overall sense of speed
- The idea that they wanted to change something
- There is always something to do

CONTRA:
- Hate fighting giants. The controls feel so wonkey that I needed to start these bossfights again, again and again. When I suddenly made it, I didn't know how.
- The open world is so ugly (Switch) and I really don't like the art style.
- The dialogues where aweful (in german)

Overall I have to say that I enjoyed the Mini-Levels and didn't like the open world so much.
I think if you enjoy Open world games you can find a lot to do here.
But since I didn't like Elden Ring or Botw because of their Open worlds I really don't know why I thought it would be different this time with Sonic.
Guess I will have to give Sonic Mania a try next. This will be more up my alley.

Love this Game.
It a more simple DK clone but it was totally worth my time.
It's a bit short but since it's a jump n run thats perfectly fine.
Nice graphics, a sweet soundtrack and a good mix in difficulty.
If microids will ever release another Marsupilami you can count me in!

Some good ideas meet some not so good ideas - I really liked most of the worlds but the City was aweful. Not because gameplay or overall feeling but I simply do not want real people to be in a Mario Game.
Most of the Moons where waaaay to easy (so why even try to get as many as possible when they throw them at you?).
And I hate to say this: In very few Moments I had the feeling that the controls where not quite on point.
Very few... but noticeable.

I had a good time with the game overall, but I will probably have forgotten it soon.

The Outer Worlds has many things to offer I really like: A team that follows you on your journey with own opinions and quests, diversive worlds and a nice soundtrack.
Many of the quests will add to the finale, too.

BUT everything feels like the game is totally okay with the fact that every Main Fallout was bigger, had better loot and felt more polished.
In Outer Worlds everything is smaller: Towns, Secrets, Loot,...

Overall I had a good time. But to say it is a perfect game would be a lie.

There is so much packed in:
Disney-like Credits, a 30 min. final bossfight, surprises and a nice fluid gameplay.

My favourite moment has to be the end of chapter 12 (opera guitar Hero). Amazing moment!

But why only 3.5*?
- Because Bayonetta has always been too crazy for me. Escalation to the maximum and beyond is just not mine. But I'm happy Switch owners finally got a exclusive which has no mario or link in it.
And Viola did not fit in. Gameplaywise and bit storywise, too. At least in my opinion.

This is the real third movie.
The dialogue was absolutely worth the couple of hours I spend with the game.
