Warhammer Backlog

Primarily made this list for two reasons. One Warhammer Space Wolf will be de-listed on all platforms on Oct 12, 2023. So this is a friendly reminder to get it while you can! Update!

Another Warhammer game will be delisted soon - Warhammer Quest - Will be delisted on steam on Dec 12, 2023

Humble Bundle sells the game with most of the DLC for $1 The deal is still ongoing but will end in less than 15 hours at the time of this posting.
Alternatively Fanatical contains the game and some dlc but offers it at the same price for $1
Steam sells the base game under $2 with the rest of the DLC on sale. If you get everything its under $7.50. Humble's deal is the best, but if the deal ends Fanatical is the 2nd best choice. - Promotion over. But I'll leave what I wrote up above.

As far as I know the game is offered free on google play. But buying it on PC has no micro-transactions.

2nd I wanted to list the interesting WH games I want to play down the road. Only finished DoW2 + expansion, Total War: Warhammer, Space Marine and recently Dawn of War 1 Master Collection So my experience in the series... is pretty small. Some of these entries are not found on Steam and are located on gog.

Due to my lacking experience I can't really say what Warhammer game to give a shot for newcomers. But I would say there's plenty of entries in various genres to try out. From FPS, 3rd person shooter, RTS, XCOM-like, Turn-based, ARPG, etc. Personally, my first gateway into the series was Dawn of War 2. And man it was exactly what I needed after looking for a good RTS w/ small RPG elements game after Warcraft 3. And post Starcraft 2 limbo. Total War: Warhammer is an awesome fantasy Total War take on the series with plenty of factions to play as and conquer. I'll never forget my vampire faction decimating everyone... Space Marine is super underrated and I'm still in disbelief we have a Space Marine II coming soon. I wouldn't say its the best 3rd person shooter, but by the Emperor it is satisfying as hell to use a jetpack and slam down a mighty warhammer onto Orks with relentless fury. Story surprised me a great deal too.

I have only played Vermintide so far, but I got Darktide, Space Marine, and Boltgun on my backlog. I really like the world and different characters and creatures it has, it seems pretty cool! Just recently getting into some of the games and have been keeping my eyes on Necromunda, which also looks like a lot of fun.

@DrJeans you gotta play Dawn of War, man. It's one of the greatest games ever made.

Mechanicus, Battle Sector and Space Marine are all good to great. I didn't like Deathwing or Inquisitor though.

Cant wait for Space Marine II (has co-op) and Rogue Trader.

@DrJeans - Yeah the world is fascinating to me with all the different factions and characters. There's even some lovecraftian-like nightmares in there I think. Pretty horrifying to see. Vermintide and Darktide I keep going back and forth "should I get it or not" lol. And niceee, I especially want to try Necromunda and Boltgun. Hope you like Space Marine! Turns out Boltgun is a continuation from Space Marine TIL.

+1 to what molchthagod said. I still haven't played DoW1 and all the expansions. iirc there's some cool mods to try out too. But all my other friends recommend it too!

@FallenGrace - Mechanicus's OST I hear is phenomenal so I'm excited to hear it! Battle sector too since I don't see much discussion often online. That's fair on Deathwing and Inquisitor. There are some WH games I didn't add personally... Due to the well mixed reception... Rogue Trader and Space Marine II is pretty hype though! I can't wait either!

@Detectivefail That is great to know, I will definitely play Space marine as the next Warhammer game I get to. Vermintide is pretty fun and Darktide just got added to gamepass I heard so I'm glad I waited on that one.
