This was definitely a Silent Hill experience condensed down to its essence. Tough to complain much for a free thing. The final chase bit got tiresome, because I kept getting lost. I'm very curious what the people who made this are working on, because this inspired much more interest than anything Bloober Team has shown of Silent Hill 2 Remake.

Top notch 80's arcade game. I used to play this for hours without spending much money. The noises and music are permanently etched in my brain.

Hot diggity dog was this adorable! Imagine if you took Breath of the Wild, made it super adorable and then made it fun! Also, you made it much shorter so that it didn't wear on you until you felt like the game was your job. That's basically Lil Gator Game! There are homages to other games in here, but the basic premise is your sister is home from college. She's too busy working on an assignment to play, so you and your friends make up an entire "Hero of Legend" world with cardboard enemies and stuff to get her interested.

I do have a couple gripes. First, the only map is just a park map you can find throughout to get a general lay of the land. Second, it doesn't do the best job of reminding you of your quest. Not even where to go, but just what it was you were doing.

When you finish the game, you get items to find the remaining monsters and friends you can meet! I saw one of the trophies was "destroy everything" and thought there was no way I would find it all, but you totally can!

This was alright. Movement felt a bit clunky.

This was an alright side scrolling shoot em up. I don't really understand it, but it was fine.

For the price, this game gave me a couple jump scares and was worth my time. There is a bug when putting in evidence, so make sure not to hit anything until you see "X remaining."

The music is rocking. Easy platinum.

Wow. This was fantastic. I have no idea what could have even been done better. It's everything that I wanted. Cannot recommend this enough.

This is definitely a "My first RPG" type game. It's fine and fairly simple. People talk about this game like its perfect, but the ending is much longer than it needs to be. The best way to experience this game is through the Skeleton House podcast.

I went into this game having really enjoyed Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion. They decided to make this one a rouge lite and I think that hurts it significantly. It's not as interesting as CTE. The ending requires beating all of the bosses in one run, then defeating the final boss. If you die, you have to defeat all of the bosses AGAIN to face the final boss even though story-wise that doesn't make sense. I might be ok with this, if you could get OP, but there's a cap to your max health and damage output. On top of that, the final boss fight has issues. My game crashed out during it three separate times. CTE was so good, because it was a fully crafted story with things to explore. This gets repetitive quickly.

Great way to teach Steam Deck controls and shortcuts.

This was my first puzzle visual novel and it was fantastic! There were some parts that got annoying, but this was a lot of fun to play! I learned about morphogenetic fields and the idea of the more people know about something, the more people who have not learned about it just know about it.

This was a good Metroidvania that was way better than it had any right to be considering the awful movie it is based on. I would recommend this to most people. My final save time was just under 4 hours, and that's because I spent 20-30 minutes clearing out the entire map for upgrades because the final boss was kicking my butt. I love a good bite-sized game.
