The fact that sega released this game without main game multiplayer still baffles me and immediately elevates the original games over this for me.
It's cool getting the play the levels I could never unlock in the originals and the game looks nice, but the multiplayer is one of the main reasons I bought this game.

This is the simpsons game I played as a kid. Still remember going for 100% and actually doing all the time attacks.
Game is still fun and has some funny cutscenes. It's cool being able to run around springfield (although the rag dolling in hit and run is funnier).
I wanna try speedrunning it cause it looks fun to break

Really funny and endearing! Some of the gimmicks get a little frustrating (looking at you lava surfing with the janky dinosaur hitboxes).
Soundtrack slaps, it fits the world so perfectly and is really upbeat and catchy.
Humor is super dark and constantly changing. It's just a really unique and fun experience.

I want to love DK64 more than I do, but it's just so bloated and frustrating at parts.
The DK rap is great, the new characters are great, the music is great, the final boss is fun (even if it does go on a little long), and the glitches are really fun to mess around with.
I don't mind collecting a lot of things, but DK 64 is a step down from Banjo Kazooie in that regard.
The backtracking is not as egregious as something like Tooie, once you get a kong you can get pretty much all of their collectibles on your first visit to a level and the levels are not as bloated as Tooie's.
The minigames and some of the golden bananas are where things kind of start to fall apart. There are a few mini games that just don't work (beavers....) and a few golden bananas are just obnoxious and made even harder with the fixed framerate of the wii u port.
Still fun at times, but it's a little intimidating to go back to.
Lanky and Chunky Kong are excellent editions to the DK lore though and Tiny Kong kind of breaks the DK timeline in weird ways in future games.
Still waiting for Nintendo to release a game explaining the time shenanigans that led to Tiny Kong growing faster than Dixie

Fun but frustrating at times. Mother 1 is an old school NES JRPG. If you go into it with that mindset you will probably enjoy it.
It's still super charming and the characters are fun, but the opening few hours can be a little rough and the grinding can be tedious.
Overall it's still really enjoyable despite it's dated parts. It feels really good getting through a difficult patch and the final boss is cool and has a unique resolution.

Disappointing after 9. Mega man 10 is on the lower tier of the classic mega man games for me. Being able to play as proto man and bass is cool, but the levels are not as memorable and don't feel as rewarding to complete as 9's levels.
The soundtrack is also weaker and the robot master weapons are nowhere near as good as 9's.
