Pretty good game, I enjoyed the story based nature of the game and also enjoyed how it felt like I was the one choosing my path through the game. Played through most of the storrylines but didn't finish all of them, I think I wanted more of a main storyline because by the end of my time playing, it felt like there wasn't really an end goal and I was kind of just playing to no real end. Will probably pick it back up to finish the game out at some point.

(Only finished main story + elite four at time of review) Pretty standard Pokemon game (I assume I've only played
this one lol), generally pretty easy but the Elite Four without using healing items was actually surprisingly hard. Not a fan of how annoying legendaries are to catch. Story was decent but probably overhyped a little bit, it was still very clearly intended for kids. Might update this review if I end up playing through more of the postgame.

I really like this game. I can't really put into words why but I enjoyed it a lot and the ending was one of the only times I've come close to crying from a video game. The ending reminded me of how I felt after the ending of Cowboy Bebop, where I watched the entire credits waiting to see if we would find out more about what happens to the characters and knowing we wouldn't. Even though the game was so short, I couldn't help but build an emotional attachment to the characters, and I wanted to see them be happy. I did have some issues with the game that broke my immersion (some buggy UI, excessive use of invisible walls, got softlocked once, and the part where you need to explore the cave but they close off the entrance behind you without telling you), but honestly I don't think those issues are meaningful enough to impact my review too much.
