Bro what? The story is ass. Decent premise with cool ideas that doesn’t deliver on any of them. Still beautiful environments, enemies and varied combat as the first two.

Blastmode asked the question what if metal slug was awesome and this spawned

TL;DR While there's definitely issues and rough edges Sonic Frontiers is a great time and I'm excited for the future of this series for the first time in literal years

On December 9th of last year a new Sonic game was finally announced after a 4 year absence with... forces and team sonic racing. That being said it got revealed to be open world and I was very cautiously optimistic and up to release the more and more I heard it looked better and up to release I could not wait to get my hands on this game and now that it's finally done with I can safely say yeah this is a good ass game albeit not without it's flaws.

Let me go over the flaws first so I can just gush later on. First of all the biggest thing obviously which isn't all bad, it's the world while it's good and serves it's purpose of letting me move around fast I can't help but wish it looked a bit more idk how to word it Sonic like? The islands serve their purposes and I had a lot of fun and in them but the big offender is Chaos island where 80% of it is 2D and I was just hoping there weren't too much 2D sections but alas but again let me reiterate the islands are fun (besides chaos island lol) I just wish they had more character to them. Cyberspace levels oh boy I don't wanna say it's all bad but as most of them are 2D levels yeah it's hard to say they're all good it's very obvious these levels are the most undercooked part of the game but besides those complaints? It can just feel janky at times and the final boss is underwhelming and that's it for what I actually disliked.

Now I can gush OH MY GOD THIS GAME IS FUN it's just pure fun to move around in doing whatever there is to do. Combat system starts kinda weak but as you learn more combos it just gets more and more fun. Obviously running around is fun, it's a Sonic game but it's never felt more fun with the amount of room you have. Character writing thanks to Ian Flynn is better than ever Sonic's interactions with Amy, Tails and Knuckles all feel real we're finally free from Baldy Mcnosehair Sonic, Eggman and Sage's relationships is one of the best things to come from this series character wise in the last decade or so every character is just near if not at their best this time around all this complimented by a really good story. The story in this game isn't let's say adventure two good but it's still a solid story with fun characters which is more than I can say about a game in this series since unleashed.

Sonic Frontiers is a great game and an even better blue print for the future of this series, are there issues like pop ins and too many 2D areas? Sure but for the first time since 2011 I can't wait for the future of this series and optimistic for what's to come.

I've heard great things about Pac-Man World 2 so after I beat Re-Pac I decided to boot up my [LEGAL] copy of this game and? Yeah it's good although the boss fights were ASS especially the last two and if I ever have to look at a volcano again I may cry. Most of the game is ranges from good to great (skate levels my beloved)

Y'know I went into this game expecting a fun enough platformer and well, yeah it's a fun lil platformer transitioning pac man from the arcade to a 3D platformer. This game isn't OH MY GOD PEAK PLATFORMER and that'd fine not every game needs to be that, Pac-Man World knows exactly what it is and uses everything to make it worth my time. I will say there is a bit of a quality dip cuz the last world was kinda ass but whatever it makes up for it by having the most funny ending to any video game ever.

Hotline Miami 1 but if the devs took an extra shot of bath salts

TLDR: Travis Touchdown is so awesome

Actual thoughts: For a game that starts because the main character is down horrendous it's good, every boss has their own charm and character leading to really unique boss fights, character and story wise Travis kinda carries but that's a cherry on top. The game peaks at gameplay it's so over the top gory it's funny but just fighting enemies is fun and when you aren't in combat you can do part time jobs which kinda get boring but it's a 2007 game i'll go easy on it.
