Slugfest to get through actually, doesn't have some elements that I really liked about Witcher 1 (Atmosphere/Sound Design and the detective work from chapters 1 and 2), the sound especially in this game is bad, the draug boss fight is super frustrating...

Under all that though, the game's story is actually pretty interesting and even though chapter 2 is quite boring, 3 makes up for it story wise and sets up nicely for Witcher 3

Not the masterpiece that I expected, but still good regardless

Great game, obviously the black sheep is the combat which isn't really that bad, just tedious at some parts with some difficult encounters where the way the characters interact during combat can lead into some frustrating moment. Other than that, a well made story and what you actually do in the game was something I am very impressed by. A strong start, amazing characters and dynamics, and a world that is much better than it looks on first sight. Onward to Witcher 2!!
