If you love the gameplay & the sandbox of the first game & Miles Morales then you love Spider-Man 2. Traversing around this gorgeous city is fun to roam around especially now with the inclusion of the web-glide ability. Combat is pretty great too with some new abilities for both characters though I wish the game had a proper lock-on function as they were times I wanted to target a specific enemy & the game decided instead to attack the one nearest to me. Bosses are fun & can be challenging especially on a first playthrough despite the number of combat options you have equipped.

They is a lot to experience in this game with loads of side quests & activities & the amount of detail is insane that I could see why this game cost a lot. I enjoy the number of suits you can get to even from the movies.

The story is good too though not as great as the first time around as I felt one or two conflicts interactions feeling a bit forced. While I thought the main villain in 1 is still my favourite the rogue's gallery here is still amazing especially the main antagonist Kraven who is such a delight being a ruthless killer that causes a lot of struggles for the majority of the casts both the good guys & the criminals.

Its a marvellous time that is worth picking up if you have a PS5.

This game was nothing short of a masterpiece. The character moments and the lore drops were just Trails at it's peak. By the time the finale was over this game was without a doubt my favorite in the series so far.

People said that Crossbell was on par with or even better than Sky and they're absolutely right. Lloyd's dream and conversation with KeA in the finale just cemented this game as my all time favorite.

Excited to see how Cold Steel measures up.

This game's dedication in making every part of its world feel like a real lived place is outstanding, it's something I have always enjoyed about Final Fantasy as a franchise but this one particularly excels at just making you want to have your own adventure at your own pace
I've been fully on board with their vision of making more than a remake of the original story since the beginning but Rebirth truly fully sold me on the idea.
While not flawless by any means, it will be a long time until I encounter another game that feels this ambitious and for lack of a better word, "magical"

When Alpha says something so double spinning edge phobic you gotta hit them with that Alrest stare

The first 2D Mario I've ever beaten surprisingly
Much better to play than most of the NSMB games (at least in co-op) and the Wonder effects bring some fun spice to the game

When it comes to Mario, this isn't really anything mindblowing or breaking new ground but it is one of the most fun experiences on the Switch and is probably best 2D Mario game since Super Mario World over 30 years ago, so I guess that accounts for something

Over 15 years later and this game is still legendary

I don't know why but the ending of this game never fails to make me emotional

Nintendo EAD my beloved

the extreme variance in how much damage a bullet does is the funniest part of this series' lore by far

Best of the Pokémon main series remakes, if you ask me; not only is this in a better region than FRLG and HGSS, it fixes a lot of the problems that were present in Ruby/Sapphire on top of adding some cool bells and whistles to the experience

Both of the earlier remakes did that too but this game only really needed the bare minimum to make it actually truly awesome (the bare minimum being the improvements brought by the later gens), where as Gens 1 and 2 have more problems holding them back than just their age

It sucks that this game omitted a lot from Emerald though, which is why I slightly prefer that over this game, but Steven is also better than Wallace so I guess I can't complain too much

replayed this to help get over a recent silly heartbreak and could barely stop sobbing through the last couple hours. this game is shallow, jank and extremely inconsistent… but also beautiful, deranged and ungodly raw. i think it’s time i stopped pretending it isn’t still one of my favourites. spm, like love, will constantly disappoint with surprisingly boring space and cloud levels and is basically overrated but fuck, when that memory theme hits and tippi reminds herself she still has hope after everything, would i not let it beat me to death one last time :’)

jk jk i mean the level design is pretty good but sometimes speech bubbles look like they’re coming out of the wrong places. 9/10

YES YES YES YES THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WANT IN LIFE

ichi proposing after a single date is such an ichi thing to do and he's so real for it

also there are like 6 soundtrack CDs from Persona which you can listen to which i think is pretty funny

Tanimura will return for sure this time

This game made me do they gayest shit I’ve ever done
