And here my Ys journey starts
I played the two routes that weren't Hugo, and I'd say it's fairly balanced enough to play for like 15 minute sessions each, which is quite nice
Even though it was one big tower, each area felt different enough

still vibing to the music even today
pugilis theme and yaksha theme my beloved

It was a huge improvement on the first game, everything felt so much more thought out
Like the puzzles, I for one really enjoyed Air's Rock and feeling just mindblown by how big it was.
While I don't appreciate all the stereotypes and how some continents were empty and hard to find stuff on (don't tell me that's just trying to be historically accurate, it's annoying for the player lmao), it is a very valid sequel. Do wish the characters had more to say though

Pretty big improvement on 1. You could tell they put more time in with all the extra dialogue from burning NPCs and talking to enemies. The bosses mainly being magic only was rough though, it just felt awkward sometimes, Zava especially.
I was actually fine with Solomon Shrine, I felt they notated the sections well enough and the layout was different enough to make me remember where I was (plus the Chronicles version of the song goes so hard). I actually had issues with the sewers more, and partially the volcano too. Everywhere there looked the same.

It all just felt the same, I think I stopped after the 4th or 5th dungeon

It was pretty fun as a concept, but I found some of the difficulty rough, like the platforming on Saki's stage and the Iku and UFO fights. I appreciated the rare character picks and that the stages all felt pretty unique, though!
The soundtrack is also great, with Former Hell and Foot of Youkai Mountain being my favorites

I love this game, it's just everything I ever wanted out of Touhou
Clearly the developers have so much love for the franchise, and it shows
It's always great to see everyone just chilling, and the art is great! I'm still trying to catch up with everything these days, haha

I had fun playing this with my sibling (I can't remember which one, uh oh...)
I greatly appreciated the variety in moon puzzles, it seemed like everywhere we looked, there was something to do

I don't appreciate the way they tell their story, it seems like they're trying to be too different and unpredictable but it doesn't lead to any lasting engagement. The combat is not very interesting either. I can auto grind, but even that still takes more effort than I want to put in sometimes...
The music and the humor are what keep me playing, really...

GYATT!!!

The levels were mostly fine, the bosses though...
They have way too much health! The knight and the devil made me quit for like a month each! The screen is too small
Music is very good though
The aesthetic was also quite interesting, along with the artstyle. I do appreciate that, at least. Also, that typing game was nerve-racking lol

I will always love exploring the world and the music
I'm thankful I was so bored during 2020! If I had started any later, I wouldn't have been able to get through all the grinding.

Minish Cap will always have a soft spot in my heart as my first older Zelda game. The music (Minish Village, Temple of Droplets) was amazing and the aesthetics were adorable. I think the dungeon design was also pretty good, but I can't remember
The Kinstones though... oh dear...

Music is great, pretty good for building muscle memory
I always get way too scared on the bosses though lol

Honestly, I only play to see the goofy games I can find, I can only really do that with friends haha
The amount of things these kids can do with these games is crazy

Some of my top games (all of these are to shock friends)
SUPER BOWL 54 Jennifer L. & Shakira
Attack the Annoying Elephant From Sing Barbie UPD!
Survive Cardi B in Area 51
Escape Drake's Music Studio (SCARY OBBY)
Museum of Lana Del Rey

I was expecting it to be a lot rougher than it was
Parts of it were enjoyable, besides the final dungeon lol
I have three fists named "Vagullion", "Khonsclard", and "Dark Fact" and they all do damage to my ego every time I look back and see how long I spent on them
