This game went so hard back in like 2015. I still listen to the soundtrack today, hearing how it flows between subgenres is awesome
Once you pay and get past the earlier levels, it's a great experience

The Nexomon themselves are very charming, along with the characters. However, the movesets are all pretty boring. You end up with a team of starters or legendaries that all just use the most powerful moves of their type. It still holds a soft spot in my heart, though

Very unique gameplay and idea, I just have trouble sitting still through all ten stages per level. I miss midair directional inputs too

This game is incredibly charming, with its realistic representations of different cultures in the voice acting and languages spoken. The story also seemed very intriguing, I wonder how far they will take it
But... I couldn't get far in the story because the gameplay was just so stale. Even with auto mode, there are some fights where you have to manually control and those are just incredibly boring and luck-based. I don't feel any satisfaction from making big plays or anything. Man, I really wanted to love it though

Uh, I played the Android version (which I believe works better than the Windows version?)
It's really fun, like a drag to shoot bullet hell with gravity and time slow, and feels great on mobile. Bosses are fun, music is great, the Eschatology route was my favorite because of the mix between melee and ranged options. I only wish there were a cloud save option because my progress did not survive a device transfer.

i get that people will always defend it because it's EoSD, but damn it plays like it was coded in scratch

My first (real) Touhou game, and the one I spent the most time on
I have trouble with my attention span now, besides having some issues with brain processing certain bullet patterns (autism) then I think this is the most playable for me
Plus, so many hits in MoF soundtrack!

not worth it, incredibly unpolished and lacking in songs unlike the advertising

Very fun ideas and great music, replayable too

Day 1 player, on one hand I really appreciate the fanart and music that the game boosts... but it's also Lost Word
They clearly are intelligent and well-informed, each character has so much fascinating text written about the origins of their attacks and concepts, and the story gets as in-depth on some scientific and historical topics as a visual novel
The gameplay is just so boring though, even with auto mode
why do i still "play" this

The further you get, the more ridiculous the enemies' HP bar gets. Plus, the low catch rate just makes it so you don't want to catch them. Combine that with the heart system, and it quickly gets annoying
The Competitive Stage theme goes so hard though

The puzzles are lovely, and the aesthetics are very improved on. It might sound silly to people who don't know this game, but the story really touched me. I played this game with loss on my mind, and the way this game tells an emotional story without words really touched me

This game is beautiful, and the puzzles are enjoyable. Touching story, too

I have 511 dragons
The designs get better and better but it just gets harder and harder to get the new ones
Sometimes it's too much to log in and collect all my stuff
