I'm not great at rhythm games, but I played the original and this is much more replayable. I appreciate their QoL fixes and openness, as someone who was following from the start.
Getting more cards does feel like good motivation here, and makes me want to get at least a little better

I'd rather not think about these days lol

It was never really my game, but I still play with friends sometime
I was much more invested while playing on my mom's Kindle Fire back in 2011-12, I have some crazy memories from back then

I do like some of the Pokemon, and the diversity of environments is cool, but nothing really drew me back. I do have fond memories of doing Max Raid Battles with a streamer, though

The music is very good, and I appreciate how Pokemon are shown doing different things besides battling, but I really wish there was more direction because I just felt lost
The second DLC was much better than the first, though I don't think I used it to its full potential since I'm not an avid battler
The mochi thing was just a waste, though. I appreciated the relationship building, but they could have done it without the mochi

Played with my siblings, I loved how each level had its own identity and felt (mostly) unique

Great diversity of music, and the landscapes are beautiful too. The levels on their own wouldn't be as good, their main strength comes from being remade multiple different times per season, which is a concept I love to see (Zelda Oracle of Seasons!)
I had my frustrations with bits of the story, but it was mostly alright

I'm so glad I had friends to coach me through the beginning, this one was real rough at the start
It became worth it though, story hasn't hit me this hard in a while
I also appreciate the forced trial characters, I would get bored if I had to use my characters every single time in the story

I doubt I'll ever finish this because of the grinding, but I appreciated how the NPCs felt (selfishly) human, it made this world feel real. And the amount of control you have over this world is crazy too, flying around in your Skell with Don't worry playing on loop
But damn, when you get into a cave, things just get five times harder lol

ToTK builds on everything I loved about BoTW! After cooking all of the recipes (which you can actually log in the book!), then I was satisfied

2020-2022 were more stressful years, so I appreciated being able to run around and relax in a world that felt empty
Hero's Path was also great for this, I would run around in an area I hadn't visited thinking I could find a Korok or two... 265 hours and only 330 Koroks lol

I don't appreciate the way they tell their story, it seems like they're trying to be too different and unpredictable but it doesn't lead to any lasting engagement. The combat is not very interesting either. I can auto grind, but even that still takes more effort than I want to put in sometimes...
The music and the humor are what keep me playing, really...

GYATT!!!

I will always love exploring the world and the music
I'm thankful I was so bored during 2020! If I had started any later, I wouldn't have been able to get through all the grinding.
