This is what a sequel should do.
The fact that 50% of this game's map is exactly the same as the previous game yet it feels like a whole new one speaks volumes for this game's world. Thats not mentioning the depths and the sky islands which add for HOURS of exploration.
One major complaint about BOTW I had was the repetitiveness of the dungeons and whilst I don't think that the ones in this game are amazing they are leaps and bounds more fun than the last games purely because they all look different. The boss fights are also significantly Improved, all of them are fun and unique.
The way they changed the weapon system works so that its not a carbon copy of BOTW. Combining parts together makes for fun customization.

Do i really need to explain?
A complete masterpiece. This game has one of the best stories told across any media. For a game that came out in 2018 on oldgen it still holds up and looks better than a lot of new games released today. Everything about this game is amazing but where it shines most is its characters, Arthur,Dutch and John to name but a few stand out as some of the best written characters in fiction. This game is a must play for everybody

Putting nostalgia aside for a moment and you can see that parts of this game havent aged well, primarily the controls and the camera. Besides this it is still a great platformer with very good level design. Nostalgia plays a huge factor here for sure (the DS port is better)

The game is extremely fun to play with friends but solo its very dull. Unfortunately, the game has fell off from where it was but it was a great multiplayer game while it lasted

Great story with amazing visuals. Kratos arc is one of the best in recent years. Baldur is a great villain. Score is great. Visuals still look great after 5 years. Combat can get a bit repetitive but apart from that no complaints

Story feels like an action movie, it doesn't match the highs of GTA IV but holds up extremely well. Next gen graphics look amazing. Online mode is God tier which speaks for itself having a consistent player base going on 10 years. A total blast to play through multiple times and has enough content for multiple hours of gameplay and with a spectacular online mode added for good measure. Goated game, gonna be hard to top.

The next step for 3D mario. Amazing level design with enough variation to stop burn out. With a copious amount of moons and purple coins the game has enough content for hours of gameplay. Glad to see bosses other than the koopa kids for once. Hope for a sequel

The best superhero game since Arkham City. The web swinging is phenomonal and makes traversal a joy. Story is amazing. Great selection of villains and enough variation to keep missions from feeling repetitive. The combat clearly takes inspiration from the Arkham games but improves on it in many ways. Great side content and amazing suit selection

Graphically this game is phenomonal, one of the only games released recently that looks like a next gen game. However I don't find the story as entertaining as the previous game. Dont get me wrong its really good and has its fair share of amazing moments but also has much slower moments aswell (Ironwood). The combat seems to be quite similar to the previous game which isn't an issue really. Overall a great sequel which falls a bit short of the greatness of the first

The animation is absolutely amazing and the music is even better. Each boss feels different so there isn't any issue of repetitiveness. Shelved because King Dice is a pain in the ass
A great game to play with friends. Not 5 stars because Waluigi still isn't in it

Not normally my thing but bought it on sale and its great fun. Very relaxing time spender and is even better with mods

Controversial i would say this is the most over-hated game of all time. Whilst the story has some MAJOR pacing issues it is still as emotionally driven as the first game. The graphics are unbelievable and is definitely one of the best looking games of the past 10 years. Gameplay has enough additions to make it feel fresh. If you can get past Joels death and the poor pacing it is an amazing experience with amazing gameplay and visuals
