My favorite non-treyarch COD campaign and zombies mode by far. Campaign is energetic and fun with a variety of missions in unique environments. Zombies is goofy with intricate easter eggs that have genuine rewards.

Nintendo... this is exactly the direction you should be taking Mario games. Playing Super Mario Bros. Wonder brought me back to feelings from 10 years after playing Super Mario Galaxy. These worlds had me feeling giddy at each section's music and environment with fun mechanics and gameplay with the introduction of Wonder flowers. Compared to the NSMB series, this is a breath of fresh air.

Too lazy to split dlc and base game, so I'm merging them (sorry!).

Dying Light 2 is odd. The gameplay feels so similar to DL1, yet it also feels like they reinvented the wheel. Attacks feel less prominent, parkour is rugged and clunky, and enemies feel pathetic at times. Story is good but nowhere near DL1. Overall, not the dreamy sequel I had hoped for, but definitely still an enjoyable experience.

A game that actually gets worse with age for me. Enjoyed my time with it when I was young, but going back feels repetitive and boring now. Mods are great, servers are fun, but the core singleplayer is incredibly sleepy for those who have done it before.

Wonderfully simplistic. Phenomenal atmosphere and enemy design, proximity chat is great, and gameplay loop is enjoyable. Only play with friends since solo isn't great!

Great coop game with friends that's just the right amount of goofy. Replayable and packed with content, along with more on the way.

A masterpiece. Gameplay, atmosphere, and soundtrack weave a beautiful game that bounces from one beat to the next seamlessly.

While not my favorite Bloons title, definitely the largest. So many towers, upgrades, heroes, maps, gamemodes and more makes this game the pinnacle of tower defense at an extremely affordable price. Fun multiplayer that can quickly spiral into a difficult challenge depending on map/gamemode.

A game that somehow finds a way to keep itself relevant after nearly 20 years. Gamemodes are fun and workshop content is heavily encouraged.

Easy and enjoyable with a friend. Very short compared to the other titles.

Frequently bounces between fun and off putting with it's poor optimization and graphics. Gameplay is acceptable, but late game becomes so grindy that it takes hours to level up once. Bosses scale extremely quickly, often needing the absolute best pals from the area to even have a chance at beating them.

An incredible 5v5 team shooter with hundreds of gadgets, weapons, tools, and playstyles. Although it was recently dying, it's resurgence reminded me why I loved the game from my teenage days of competing with or against my friends.

Fun to play with friends, with puzzles that are engaging and difficult. Sometimes difficulty can progress into tediousness and levels can become annoying to complete. No replayability for past levels but DLCs and free updates are still being produced. Enjoyable to play from time-to-time, but not much else can be said.

While this game did kill TF3, it wasn't for nothing. Apex Legends produces overwatch-esque team ability shooter gameplay that stands amongst the best battle royales out there. While I haven't enjoyed the game recently due to cheaters and added legends, I respect it's thriving pro-scene that is incredibly enjoyable to watch.

As a day one player, I've truly enjoyed this game at various stages. Duoing with a friend when skull forts were the pinnacle of content, into tryharding a brig for the Reaper's Bones over a year later, into finally returning to a sweaty sloop PvP experience, it's been a long run. However, updates have slowed down with less and less meaningful content. Seasons that take months to produce fail to provide as much content as old monthly updates that brought game changing playstyles. The anniversary of this game might be the greatest update ever released by a live-service game, but I can't give the past years nearly as much commemoration.
