I have played this game more times than I can count! The story led me to reading all of the books and I will always be grateful for that. It still has the best DLC of any game I have ever played.

Edit:
After having played the PS5 remaster, this game has truly proven its classic status. Sure the gameplay isn’t perfect (I enjoyed it for the most part) where it shines is it’s beautiful story, it’s rich tapestry and deep fleshed out lore. The sheer attention to the most tiniest detail and the larger than life characters. It truly is one of gamings modern masterpieces!

There is something exhilarating about being trapped in the lonely dark corridors of a space station, being tailed and followed by an unseen monster, while having to rely on solving problems and thinking two steps ahead.

The best piece of alien media since Aliens.

This game right here is probably the most played game I own. It was the first game I ever played. I remember playing this with friends to settle arguments and challenge family!

I even regularly competed in local tournaments, and they are some of my favourite memories.

I liked the Leon segment but the rest of this game is a chore to get through, I have no idea what they were thinking in turning the game into a generic action game.

I tried to force myself to enjoy this game, I abandoned this half way through as I was bored shitless. Poor repetitive gameplay, lackluster story.

Skulking on rooftops, blinking to an upper balcony and then possessing a guard and standing within inches of a target, I love those moments.

Being given the choice to kill or get rid of someone through ingenious and sometimes sinister ways is a big highlight.

The world of Dunwall is a dark and somewhat beautiful place, both filled with despair and and a few individuals trying to bring light to a dark world is a sight to behold, a immersive game like no other!

The true scope of this game is staggering! The soundtrack and the small musical sounds that play on interacting with the game still feels me with joy. I remember playing this mostly on night shifts and it got me through some tough times.

The gameplay and inventiveness of said gameplay is beautiful, the colour palette and visual art style makes this a pure comfort game.

OK, I've got an idea, but it is bloody dangerous. OK, here we go... AUGH!!! Huh? Oh for God's... They told me that if I ever turned on this flashlight, I would die! They told me that about everything! I mean, why do they even bother giving me this stuff if they didn't want me using it?! It's pointless! Mad! - Wheatley

Quotes like these is what makes this game insane, I laughed constantly through this game.

I didn’t play this game until 2021 and I should not have waited this long!

The game made me cry, laugh and ponder and I didn’t expect this at all, I fell deeply in love with the characters and the simple yet beautiful structure of this game.

Highlights:
Sans boss fight
Mettatons whole character
Having a date with Papyrus
Cooking with Undyne and many more

2008

I did admittedly enjoy some aspects of this game, the story was…naff but the brutal stealth kills both on humans and Dinosaurs was satisfying. Overall though it fell short of being a good game, the pacing is all over the place, the characters are bland as is the environments. If you’re curious give it a go but don’t expect a great game!

I have a complex relationship with this game. I don’t believe it’s a good game at all, the story is boring and a slog to get through. The gameplay is sloppy and it’s uninventive, the quest structure is its biggest flaw in my eyes, absolutely no real consequences to the outcomes to the story.

The game is easy, even on the hardest difficulty, it’s easy to become OP quickly. The main characters as with the supporting characters are bland and uninteresting and show no emotion whatsoever!

On a positive note, the game has some redeeming factors, the game gives you plenty of freedom and customisation, there is enjoyment to be had in this game but it’s littered within a boring game.

This was the first game I played on PS4, not much to say really other than it’s fun and will give you a good laugh.

I love this game, everything gels well together in my eyes. The gameplay is fluid and you feel awesome when you get creative. The level design is flawless, I’m looking at you clockwork mansion! The amount of love and attention that went into every detail is beautiful. Arkane knows how to build atmosphere more than anyone else.

This was a hotly anticipated game for me, ever since that first reveal.

The game looks absolutely stunning, the environments are colourful and vibrant and was a treat to see!
The episodic nature and the fact it’s only part of the game bothers me, I’d rather they didn’t prolong it.
All of the characters are given more time to be fleshed out and overall I enjoyed them, like visiting old friends.
The story follows what came before but with a twist, there is a new plot that seems to be growing alongside its original counterpart, I’m not fully sold on it yet.

It’s biggest flaw is it’s side quests, as with FF15 they are tedious and completely pointless, they were a chore to even get through.
Gameplay wise it’s a departure from its turn based original but it’s fun, it’s slick and pretty, and I found myself getting excited in higher difficulties.

Overall I’d say If you are a Final Fantasy fan then definitely pick this up.

Arkane studios is quickly becoming one of my favourite developers, Death of the Outsider along with D1 D2 and Prey are some of the most inventive games.
Shout out to Dana Nightingale for her creative ideas and for helping to give us some banging levels.

I enjoyed Death of the outsider a lot, it’s short but what there is packs a punch! The Bank job mission is now up there with my top 3 levels of the franchise. Gameplay wise it’s better than ever, faster, more fluid than previous games.

Billie Lurk is awesome (coolest name ever) and having Daud as a supporting character works, I feel that it all comes full circle with Daud.

I wish this game was longer, I wanted to keep playing so badly, but the ending was my favourite of the franchise as it was so unique.
