Decided to jump in after seeing it appear on some best of 2023 lists. Was really blown away by the incredible level of detail in the level artwork and by the style of the game as a whole. The puzzle mechanics feel genuinely fresh, and do a good job of slowly increasing in complexity. There is a good balance of narrative background while not getting in the way of engaging puzzle solving. While the game is relatively short, highly recommend if you enjoy games like BRAID or other indie platform puzzlers.

Despite some balance issues, was really enjoying the game -- really feels like a solid Castlevania entry, with the all the upgrading stats and weapon variety that you would expect. Unfortunately, the Switch performance gets so poor in the later game that it makes it unplayable. When certain boss battles and areas fill the screen with enemies or effects the stuttering becomes so bad that it will repeatedly lead to unavoidable deaths. Strongly caution against the Switch version until an update is released!!
