Yoko Taro does it again my goat

I just beat the game and wow what an experience

WataOshi if it was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Go read WataOshi if you see this btw it's very good)

This game is weird, but a good weird. Unintentional reference to The Lightning Thief aside, it's a fun time. It's not that long—only about 2–3 hours on average—to beat the story. There's not much to say about the story itself. Wario and his friends get stuck in their own game and have to beat their own stages to rid the game of bugs. I'm skipping over some stuff, but that's the basic gist of it. The gameplay is where things get more interesting. Instead of just playing the microgames normally, you play as the characters, who each have their own control scheme. For example, Wario has a jetpack and can shoulder-bash left or right, depending on which direction you're facing, while 18-Volt cannot move and can only aim and throw his rings. While this seemingly gives some characters an edge, the microgames change how they're played depending on which characters are present. Not to say that the game is balanced, because it really isn't. I can't comment too much on the other modes, as they require multiple players. Overall, this game is pretty good. It does something interesting with the normal formula of the series, has some banging tracks, and it never overstays its welcome.
