Unfortunately i cant find the original ishin on backloggd, but this remake destroys the game. Its pretty, but not half as good as the original. Do not play on PS4 btw.

Yakuza 6 is fun. However. The story is confusing. It also really disrespects some of the characters in this game, especially haruka and kiryu. I hate that when kiryu goes to visit haruka he writes a letter to daigo??? Is he stupid??? Does he hate his daughter???? Dumb game. Fun game. Like a Dragon Gaiden better justify this games stupid ending. Also some of the worst combat. Great open world though.
This games awesome and i hate turn based RPGs. One of the best in the series.

I enjoyed this game but it inherently does not capture the magic of a yakuza game, unlike the original Yakuza 2.

Not fun. Would be half star but i respect the ambition, concept and music.
I didnt love this game, but i imagine its because i knew too much going in. I consider this the best game ever. Not my favorite, but it really is a must play.

The best game. Ever. Flawed for sure, but it captures the greatest, most definitive yakuza experience and feels like no other game. Great combat, great visuals, massive scale, so cozy, so nostalgic, so fun, amazing side content. The perfect game.

Best way to play Yakuza 1. Pretty bad remake, but no english dub, better visuals and combat make this the definitive experience despite ruining a lot of what the first game did right.

In my opinion this is yakuza game is just alright. Its combat isnt as bad as people say though. I would argue this game is like Pink and White by Frank Ocean - it excels in creating nostalgia from where there is none. Charming, cozy and fun, but the story is forgettable.

Decent yakuza game with the worst story in the series. Combat is so overrated getting improved completely in yakuza 5. Story is fantastic for the first two parts, but the rest of the game kind of sucks. First two parts were extremely fun though. My personal least favorite yakuza but still decent.

Awful english dub you cant turn off, janky controls, washed visuals… but the combat has its moments, the visuals are nice every so often, the story is great even if the voice acting butchers it. The story does have pacing issues though, and the game isnt that fun. Kamurocho is fantastic in this game though.

Great but extremely flawed in ways that RGG has avoided in the past and future. Pacing, upgrade systems, trailing missions, visuals are all worse than most entries in the series. There are an infinite amount of reviews to tell you why this game is great though
