great game, the story is pretty well written and solid, discussing the idea of genetics and how it affects us, and in general just how we grow as people and if our personalities are affected through our genes, or through our environment, the gameplay is also pretty fun to play through despite having oddities such as the weird camera mixed with the bosses but it's simple enough to work and be fun

overall really great and is undeniably a major landmark on gaming and affected all subsequent games to come

gameplay is pretty fun even though it's just stamping, gets more features as you go on, and a crazy story alongside, nostalgic game as well for me

2006

At first i was really amazed by how this game looks especially for its time but going in and playing it, it was pretty disappointing, great atmosphere through and through but the level designs themselves are super repetitive and it gets boring, fast. while the weapons dont have variety, they're fun to kill with, there's absolutely no challenge because whenever you die you can easily just regain all your health and spirit, the story is not all that and is not that present in the game, just a disappointing game overall with only good atmosphere

it's super fun and stylish, story arcs are mostly disappointing post kamoshida but overall it's a fun game to play

fantastic and phenomenal, the story is super well written with a great premise and plot mixed a lot of twists that surprise you but arent just for shock value, they're foreshadowed beforehand and the type to make you go "Holy shit", the gameplay is extremely fun with each chapter having a lot of challenge but at the same time being rewarding, the artstyle is eye candy and super charming, makes me feel very nostalgic as well, it's a shame it's not talked about enough

You can't really say anything new that hasn't already been said, it's MGS2, the gameplay is fantastic and smooth as fuck to play but the level design was very repetitive, i guess you could say it's what the game is about (Without spoiling anyways) but i wasn't exactly a fan of that level design, the story itself is fantastic though that doesn't need explaining as to why it's great, the final codec conversation is more than enough to explain why, it makes up for most of my issues with the game in general

Yeah, it's fantastic

I came in playing because I'm a huge fan of this type of style Hotline Miami has especially because one of the closest games to my heart has a similar type of style, GTA Vice City, but aside from the aesthetic the game has, it's incredibly fun to play and super addicting, it's snappy and quick and wastes absolutely no time, you go in, kill or die, pressing R to restart and instantly go back in, you may try the same tactic until it works or try something new, the gameplay loop never disappoints and the level design is done very well, the story wasnt that coherent for me but mainly because it's my first time playing and I didnt TRY to decipher what was happening or keep up because i was too focused on the gameplay but even then the sense of mystery the game had was really great and i highly enjoyed it, part of the great atmosphere the game has

Really awesome, currently replaying to get the secret ending and it's just as fun as i remember it to be

EDIT:
So i finished it again, with the secret ending, i wouldnt say I mastered it yet since no A+ on all chapters but it's done fully
The game's still very fun and addicting, couldnt stop playing and tried new ways to kill using new masks now (Mostly Tony, OP asf), but the thing that I understood fully is now the story, it goes way deeper than once originally thought and is very well done, it still has a sense of mystery to it despite being revealed what exactly happens during the final Biker chapter such as the Richard, Don Juan and Rasmus, the way the story is told in general was really great and I appreciate the style it went for because even when you get the answers, there's still so much to question and you're left to your own interpretation

Kino/10

Decent

Beautiful game but that's really it, the gunplay can be very clunky and there's a lot of repetition with enemies and the levels, the puzzles can be fun and the scenery was very good. the game becomes really bad after they introduce certain enemies. the story even though it's really generic and basic had a good script to it and I was a fan of Nate and Sully here, but really when it comes to the gameplay the game falls short a lot of the time, it's decent but nothing worth writing home about

Very fun to play through and the puzzles albeit easy are well done, my only issue with the game is how short it was, final 2 levels were really great and the eerie atmosphere it had was pretty great

Great stuff

Fantastic

Really fun gameplay that makes you wanna play more and more, you can have really cool "combos" which is for me can be really neat and I gotta record it every time, and the story was really good too, there was this great balance between both the story and gameplay that I quite enjoyed as well as most of the characters, I found them to be all memorable, the aesthetic of the game is of course top tier, the neo-noir aesthetic mixed with the neon vibe and darkwave music really checks all my boxes so I loved that for sure, it was also very trippy towards the end in a good way.
My only issue(s) with the game would be that it's too short but apparently there's supposed to be a DLC coming out soon so I'm looking forward to that, all in all fantastic game

the real stuff, actually really enjoyable with friends

Dunno, I didn't enjoy it at all from the many matches I've played although I may have just sucked, I don't think i'd ever play it by myself

Good game, but i still need to finish it

it was really great and had a ton of fun with it, I need to actually finish it someday though
