Fast paced, action packed, fun and challenging paired with amazing down time can't recommend enough

Fun with interesting ideas and characters. A slog without speeding up combat
Definitely a precursor to Earthbound, can't rate it any higher due to how slow combat is

Still good but doesn't hold a candle to 999 or VLR and contradicts VLR a few times as well.
The Zero twist is ass
Sigma and Diana's paired story is the best part
Radical 6 is built up so much in VLR but is such a minimal part of this

2020

This shit broke me I love it so much
The gameplay is simple but extremely engaging and very fun. The story and characters are insanely well done.
The horror aspects were absolutely gripping and had me on the edge of my seat.
As someone who has had experiences and troubles surrounding the violin, watching Sunny dealing with his made hurt and spoke to me.

YIIK Ver 1.25
Very alright, the main issue with the game is just what the creator did post release.
In terms of the game on it's own, the combat is alright although can get grating near the end. Some party members feel kind of useless. The story overexplains itself a lot, although that's fixed in the reduced mode. Definitely not as bad as people made it out to be but it's not amazing either.
I enjoyed the ending, even if I have some problems. The extra ending I didn't like even though I liked the area because I just don't care for Sammy.

I enjoyed it, the characters and interactions were very fun and the battle system was really interesting.
The music is really good in both versions I think but the atmosphere of PSX is better.
The characters are probably the highlight, they feel like 3 dimensional characters trapped by the limitations of the time. Really excited for how they're developed in P2 EP. Kandori was an amazing villain and the caverns of consciousness was amazing and I wish we had more of that in modern persona.
The only real problem I had was exp gain since whenever 1 character is like 10 levels higher than the rest it makes it really difficult to recruit personas

I completely understand why this game is a classic and highly hailed in the Persona fanbase
BUT
A bunch of the bosses require a fuck ton of grinding to fight with the most bullshit resistances I've seen in a game
The final boss's final phase being strong against all abilities, but can't be reduced so you're fighting with completely minimal damage
I regret playing this on normal due to the bosses and grinding requirements and amount of time wasted.
I do like the concept of the final boss but having too much health per phase and the damage of the final made me not enjoy fighting it.

Other than the bosses I loved the game a lot, some bosses were really fun, especially the full moon bosses. Tartarus was a really fun area to explore and made grinding more bearable.
The cast was also really good to interact with and while a lot of the SLs were basic they also had a few amazing ones
Especially the Sun SL, my absolute favourite

Very fun short game, made me smile and got a few laughs out of me
Art style is very chaotic and I love it for that
Music is also very good
It's a fun little short game
Ending was so funny

What a game. The story and characters are absolutely amazing, the story is presented beautifully. While I wish the gameplay was explored more past the first few cases, felt like the puzzles were just dropped after case 2.

Not just the main story but the placebo route gives so much more context to the story and characters separate from the investigation. Although the gameplay being just get up and look at your computer over and over can get a bit grating.
Kill The Past

It's mid

The combat is better(?) than most rpgmaker games like this since the difficulty isn't piss easy but the complete lack of direction doesn't really work for this game since it seems like there is a plot and point to it

Soul Hackers 2
Honestly a really fun amazing game and I wasn't expecting that. Absolutely carried by it's cast of characters all of whom I enjoyed. (Saizo is my favourite)
Honestly just wish it wasn't called Soul Hackers.
Honestly my biggest issue is map design, not the Soul Matrix, I eat that aesthetic up, but the other dungeons.

I will say, that if I played it on release I wouldn't of had as good of an experience. Since the dash and battle speed up suits the game insanely well.
Honestly I think I just played it at the right time in my life, it felt really personal in a way I can't really describe

2014

It's an amazing game, it's also extremely heavy and emotional, but also has a lot of humour to it.
I don't have the words, it's really good
