Easily my second favorite FromSoft game, behind Bloodborne. Has some questionable design choices towards the tail end.

Probably one of the best RPGs ever, the difficulty can be a little imbalanced sometimes IMO but thats a small, small thing compared to the overall fun of combat, the amazing story and voice acting, and the wonderful world of The City

I was obsessed with this game for a small time as a kid its super fun.

This was the greatest pre-order bonus nintendo has ever made.

Fond memories of exploring the world in this game and getting the special Tails Chao

Enjoyable enough, until the end the story is a little too simple and the combat is a little bland. I'm interested in playing the sequel though which I've heard is better in pretty much every department.

This is one of the worst narratives I have ever experienced. It's slow, uneventful, and the live action actors are a detriment not a positive style choice. One of the very few games I've ever regretted buying.

A really fun game with extremely deep combat, and an interesting story, but the combat isnt properly explained and the story needs some more time in the oven, a sequel would do a lot for this world i think

The narrative of this game was so poor that I'm surprised Psychonauts 2 ended up being so good. The focus on having ~BIG NAME~ actors really ate up the budget of this game and it shows

Yoko Taro's worst work, controversial opinion I know but the lore is a huge mess where the other drakenier games connected very neatly, theres things that are still unexplained to this day despite many novels and expansions upon the plot. Its a fun action game but if you are into the story it leaves a lot to be desired.

the combat in the first half is a bit hard to get through but the plot and more interesting depth of combat really pops off in the second half its honestly really slept on. The plot goes into a wild, interesting, mature direction I think a lot of fans were put off of trying by the art direction (which I will say grows on you)

Really tight plot and characters, and an amazing, immersive ARG outside of the game that really enhanced the experience and helped me make some great friends. Uchikoshi's second best title

Amazing music, but other than that the game is very messy, combat is sluggish, the plot has great ideas and potentially interesting characters weighed down by an extreme bloat of playable characters, half of which are one-note, as well as the plot just losing itself. There are pieces of a classic, amazing, fun story and narrative in here it just never quite feels finished.

Really good, interesting plot though I wish there was a bit more of it as its quite short for an rpg of its kind, hoping the remake adds more, if it does this could be a favorite for me.

A fantastic sequel, to an amazing game. Overall I found the mystery weaker than the first but the characters and writing was stronger. The only thing stopping the game from being uchikoshi's best work is the (bad) decision to have a spoiler toggle, this made a lot of the older characters lack in special moments or impact due to trying to pander to newcomers, its a game design pet peeve of mine, sequels should be sequels not hooks for new players but I digress. The Secret Ending is one of uchi's best and you are doing yourself a disservice if you are not playing this game! Tama is best.
