I've beat this game 3 times this week, 2 with mods, and each time reminds me how much i spite the third floor

after hoping the dlc wouldve fixed my qualms with this game(nope), i can only say that this is a """"""""step""""""" in a direction for sonic.
very good romhack, felt just like experiencing the original all over again, old layouts and everything. loved the ost. may come back to it to do hard mode and other challenges.

Replayed with Sonic Advance 2 SP mod
Straight up solidifies the experience, making some pits feel less bs and finding sp rings finally worth it. Every character mostly has a unique way to gather sp rings and made getting emeralds and replaying the levels feel so much better. Highly reccomend googling it and giving the mod a shot if base game seems too off.

old and aged, but made pokemon, i guess. requires friends, a link cable, and recess to be fun.

kinda just perfection if some item spots didnt feel cheap
first castlevania; unbelievably aged well, minus some rust here and there. would be obsessed with it as a teenager in the 90's

This may be the most different Final Fantasy game out of all of them, ant that's not necessarily a good thing. The sphere grid system feels like such a chore to keep updated and around, most enemies feel like damage sponges, and some characters felt either too situational or just straight up useless at the moment unless I spent more time grinding in the early 2000's rpg. I had to stop and watch the rest of the series whenever I got to seymour's third fight due to just being underleveled and having a lack of wanting to go back and do more. Alas, the story should be the shining point, right? Overall, its nice. There's definitely some points where either the va's just kinda drop the moment for me, or the plot just felt like a long rail, but the points that hit do it well! Overall, its a poorly aged final fantasy game that has a nice story and ost if your interested!

really neat! should be the bare minimum of a pokemon game! (just base, didnt do postgame/kanto)

fantastic ds game! outstanding graphics, nonredundant terraforming system, and engaging characters (real for like 2 guys)!! cant wait for mainline pokemon games on the wii! itll be revolutionary!!!!!!
