this would've been the best 3d game ever if the charge blade was even more complex and technical + all other weapons being that much complex, i know i want too much. when they instead go with this armor upgrades that grants some boosts and quirks to your stats and moveset to make the game more indepth it kinda puts me off, i'm not a fan of this "stats over technicality" thing which is the biggest problem with moba games, but this game fairly balances out those stats.

the sprite you get when grapping on to ledges is better than metroid fusion but graphics are a downgrade. they made the stupid decision to make samus turn red every time she shoots his beam, such a shitdick idea and looks so annoying when playing. color choices are also a downgrade from metroid fusion, most probably because they wanted it to resemble the original metroid colour palette.

this is the best looking 2d metroid including AM2R and 2.5d titles, gameplay is the best in 2d sprite based metroids along with AM2R. but this game has the better game design and flow compared to AM2R.
