This game is a mixture of incredible highs and incredible lows
I got 100% completion on every island and it was really nice jumping around and figuring out new routes, I also really enjoyed both the guardian and the titan fights (Wyvern and Knight being the absolute peak of the game). The OST is an absolute banger and I loved a good 97% of the story (3% left being a bit at the end)
Speaking of the end: the End.
What the everloving fuck was the End. If I wanted to play Touhou I would have not picked up a Sonic game
It's just extremely anticlimactic having the super easy fight against Giganto-With-A-Gun (TM) and then be thrown into a Touhou stage against The Moon (TM) as a final Sonic bossfight
I wasn't expecting Final Hazard but holy shit, I wasn't expecting Touhou either-
Aside from the ending, I found the repeating aesthetics of the cyberspaces to be lackluster as well as the 2D sections in the overworld (STOP CONFINING ME GAME!!!)
I haven't played Final Horizons yet so this is just for the main game

The controls are slippery as hell, the level design is all over the place, Cosmic Fall gave me nightmares, the story is all over the place as well and it killed Shadow's character making him The Edgelord(TM).
But hey! There's guns!
Also the OST is a banger and one of my favorite video game OSTs of all time so eh!

I might never finish this game as I do not have the patience to deal with its infuriating controls and levels but it holds a little special place in my heart <3

As I was playing the Hero missions I was like "nah I think I like Adventure better" then I played the Dark missions and HOLY SHIT THIS GAME IS AWESOME!
I LOVED the Dark missions and the story that comes with them, hell, even the trickiest stages (coff coff Mad Space coff coff) had banger enough themes to keep me engaged.
As a diehard Shadow fan I may be biased but still, cool ass game! Idk if I'll ever want to get the A ranks and all but who knows... I might!
The ending was an absolute banger... live and learn!
