One of the most unique and captivating 'games' I've ever played. If you like digging around in old software or forgotten storage drives to see what kind of hidden treasures you can find, do yourself a favour and play this game. Play Basilisk first, then jump in and poke around. See what you can find. See if you can dig up what should stay buried.

A necessary part of it's companion piece, Basilisk 2000. Nothing too special on its own, but essential to fully experience of one of the most creative gaming experiences out there.

The best bits of Rain World, Fez and Super Metroid crammed together in one game. The well runs deeper than you think.

An extremely well made metroidvania that further sets itself apart by having clever, unique powerups that are used in multiple ways to explore. Super eerie, tons to discover under the surface, and capped off with intense 'boss' encounters further elevated by a strict "no combat" design philosophy.

Edit: went back and got all eggs/2nd ending, there's basically double the content in postgame. 10/10
