This game just sucks. The lack of the stomp substituted by a clunky feeling pick up mechanic hurts my enjoyment substantially. Honestly it's really strange that Mario took this weird detour, I'm not really sure why Mario deviated so heavily from what they were doing before and what they went on to do, I wonder if there is just some explanation I simply don't know about.

Absolutely play this game. It's a stellar classic, and if you are a fan of FPS you deserve to see its roots. The game still holds up, as its once innovative graphic style is now incredibly charming and still effective. Might be hard to find something that can run this, but your blender should do.

you guys should listen to Cosmic Thrill Seekers by Prince Daddy & the Hyena

Persona 1 has my favourite vibe from the entire series. It's tone is delicious, its music is eerie and its purple drenched dreamlike imagery is captivating.

FUCK this game though, you'll have more fun playing a chess match with a toddler. Every battle feels like an event, and not in the way SMT games do it. There's so many affinities, the enemies barely give exp and the encounter rate is ludicrous. I played a hefty 10 hours of the game, and I dreaded every minute of combat. There is NOTHING redeeming about the combat sections of this game, which really sucks because its vibes and story are some of the nicest in the series.

Helltaker is one of the most boring puzzle games I have EVER played- no, one of the most boring games I've ever played. It's puzzles aren't often very challenging or engaging, and when they do rack the brain a little bit they're just annoying. This game is fucking whack to play.

"Oh but the art is incredible!"

Yes. Helltaker looks stellar. The art and designs are impeccable. Yes, I've seen Beelzebub and yes she do make me feel some type of way, however, Helltaker is a video game. If I wanted to see these characters look pretty, rule34 is right down the hall and to the left. And the cool part about that is that I don't have to play a game I don't like playing to see it.

I just don't think I get it? I want to like it but I feel I just need to be in a better headspace for it that I just haven't reached yet. Not gooped up yet. Goop soon. Gooping to a Goop near you.

Blah blah blah good cast blah blah blah battles are unfun blah blah blah good vibes blah blah blah fusion spells blah blah blah Eikichi blah blah blah Joker?!?!? blah blah blah quite possibly the greatest game on the market !

This game is weird. It's very different but I honestly like how quirky and weird it is, I like how it feels in comparison to the first game. Don't sleep on this one.

Where do I even begin

Star Fetchers is fucking INCREDIBLE. I love it, every bit of it. I love the characters, they're all so iconic and quotable, I love the art, it's so unique and beautifully grimey, I love the music, it fucking SLAPS, I love the short bit of story we get. I love the themes, I love how they're executed, I love how everything comes together. Please, I need Episode 1 fucking yesterday, expeditiously, pronto, A S A P.

The best of the classic Mario games. It's a classic for a reason with some tight controls, fun levels, fun final boss, nice art and iconic music.

"You see, Halo 2, that's Game of The Year, every year. But Halo 3? Its the greatest Halo Game they ever made."

- Silver Where

And I am inclined to agree. I haven't actually gone through the entire series as of writing this, but while Halo CE and 2 were "neat", Halo 2 offering a better time, Halo 3 was the game where I felt I was finally on board. The journey felt substantial. MC and Arbiter are both very very cool characters which did a great job guiding along the story. The story, for the record, being quite enjoyable. I feel like if you aren't all in on Halo, if Halo hasn't sold itself to you and/or if you're not caught up with all the tertiary media that comes with Halo, then the stories tend to not hook you. Halo 3 had me sitting there at the end going, "fuck." It had me thinking about it, it had me going "god damn, that WAS the best Halo Game they ever made".

The gameplay is airtight this time around, levels are the best they've been. Weapons are the best they've been. Story is captivating. I'm not done with the series yet but Halo 3 definitely stands as my current favourite.

One of the recent reviews for this game said it feels like a weird Rom Hack: yes. It is absolutely a weird rom hack, and the worst part is that its not a particularly fun deviation from Pac-Man. Just a weird one.

I respect it for what it had done for shooters, and I think it is an incredible game on paper. Its music goes hard, its setting is fun and it was funnier then I expected it to be.

However, I found the gunplay to be unpleasant and the level designs to suck. Many levels simply had you doing the same objective multiple times in very same-y, complex rooms. If I wasn't playing with a friend who already had experience with the game, I'd reckon I would have had a terrible time.

Overall, that was SURELY Halo 1.

Listen, if you don't fw the Pac, I don't fw you.

This game is REALLY good if you're 14 years old and have no money
