pretty good for it's time, my first time playing it and it somehow made me neglect the anniversary version due to how good this one felt to just play through visually with its environments

first halo campaign i ever played
fun time, my only real complains really just are how the remake messes with the feeling of some areas to the point where they just dont give off the same feeling as the original
its above decent so it gets a 3.5, did enjoy it though

the first metroid game that made me understand why its a beloved series, this game is so good
it's superior to the original in every way and it's a good example on how to make a remake with the amount of changes it brings
it has amazing map design and honestly it just feels great to play, most of the pacing breakers were my own fault
the sense of progression and how it showed you anything new you get is just so good, hope future games expand on the boss fights and exploring aspects
100% recommend, a perfect game to get into the metroid series

rarely good, silver sable is cool though

Real gas, a pretty fun bullethell boss rush sort of rhythm game-ish too
might make this a bit of a shorter review since i really want to focus on some parts instead of going point to point with the story
the music is incredible in this game i am so in love with most of the soundtrack, not a single song is below good
the gameplay itself is pretty fun, not a lot to say about it that isnt said by the genres and it was all balanced pretty well, no boss was too unfair or too difficult and outside of a few times the games throw you something new ( like the line, the edge and the star ) also just a big fan of how the bosses become more likeable people as you slash through them, going from the slightly rude jailer that caused rider such pain to a kid asking you to stop the massacre that has and will happen
the voice frees you and then the game begins
the chain is a pretty good intro fight to the game, wish it explained more of the entire moveset but it shows you all that you will need for the entire game and his character definitely draws you into the game a lot more
the strap is fairly simple and allows you to get used to timing and movement a lot more, i like how you can use the stage for your advantage and to get some easy hits and also just the contrasts between the first and second bosses ( also best time to say i love the bosses' designs in this game and the artwork and naming really showing some metal gear inspiration from it )
the line is the first moment the game throws you something new completely, you learned movement now you have to learn how to move in a different circumstance, big fan of his time manipulation not the most fun boss and it made me get my first or second game over but i feel its a good third boss
the scale and the hand are pretty simple bosses i just dislike the scale's patterns, story and just not find the music to be that enjoyable after a while, easy bosses but when it comes to presentation the hand is so much better with the themes and story behind it, also pretty fun to get a taste of what you'll get later on when it comes to close combat
the song is one of my favorite parts in the game, really fun boss fight that isnt too difficult but it has amazing presentation and the music gets REALLY good, words alone cant describe how good these boss fights get
here's where you would've fought the voice if he wasn't the one who was also in jail and trying to escape too, you spend most of this "boss fight" learning about the voice's motives
next up is the burst which is probably the longest fight in the game but also not that bad once you do get a hit on her post her camo abilities, really cool concept and really sick music big fan of this fight
the edge is probably the coolest boss fight in the entire game, just two swords clashing against eachother to the point where even stuff that gives rider an advantage like charged attacks or perfect parrying will be counter by a quick time event from the edge, really cool overall
then the final boss, the beat which is also the easiest foe when it comes to story and possibly gameplay too as her phases can go down fairly quickly but story wise she might as well be the hardest, the most defenseless boss and the one that doesn't attack back even after she knows you won't stop
even if they couldn't stop the rider, they could at least change him and as the final guardian goes down the voice goes "we all have to decide what's worth fighting for" they massacred the entire prison which would put them as bad people, the game shows how much one can change and how desperate one can get when it comes to their loved ones ( the beat and the voice )
as you come back to the planet you soon realize you were put away for good reason, each step you take is corrupting the planet and the voice brought you here knowing that just to be able to see his daughter again, now a changed person you have to choose between the destruction of the planet or the destruction of your own people or protect the planet you already made suffer enough
depending on your choices you might just get a whole different experience, im pretty happy with this ending i heard the story was odd but i still enjoy it and im glad it wasnt a "ohh no you have to fight the voice as the final guardian" does make it an overall more enjoyable experience.
might replay eventually on other difficulties or extra fights but for now yeah this game is gas and i love the experience i had with it

pretty good sometimes
the gameplay is the same, biggest change is a new type of enemy which just feels way too annoying to deal with ( doesn't ruin the game but i doubt improves it )
content is lacking a lot in here, outside of the main story and some fun interactions like with peter's jokes, miles' calls and the pizza time gameplay itself there isn't much even the side content like collectables, crimes and challenges ran out before the game told me to do them and they are alright to be honest, the screwball challenges weren't too bad just a bit glitchy and the bomb car ones just got a bit annoying after a bit but were nice
the story itself is pretty fun, it's what i seen be a complain in here but it works, it feels like a spider-man story and is good enough at least for me ( random thought but i love black cat's theme )
this dlc could've been a lot more but it also isn't too bad either, heard it's the best out of the 3 DLCs so i'll just hope for the best

same as the original review for helltaker, i might need to replay it eventually though to give it a different view and maybe appreciate it a bit more

keeping it simple as to leave the best experience for anyone reading ( and beacuse its been a while since i played it so my mind isnt too fresh on it )
the intergrade update does a LOT for this game, 60 fps makes this feel like a whole different experience the entire game just doesnt feel right once you go back to what it used to be and its somehow even prettier with it's shadows, colors and world being better than the original FF7R which is a big achievement
one of the best soundtracks i heard alongside mindblowing graphics and amazing gameplay, allows the player to have a cinematic movie like experience through the game's amazing music transitions
expands on some of the cast from the original making them overall more fun characters at the very start and it also brings the materia system to next gen in a way it fits perfectly and is nice to mess around with for different team builds
the world feels so alive and you genuinely care for it, even if the level design in chapters can feel kinda ehh the characters and how the game looks really carries it
it struggles with pacing a bit and gets way too easy at the halfway point but overall a really amazing game that leaves me wanting more from it

( i also cried like 7-10 times, even before the game even began i started sobbing over how beautiful the opening was )

- time as of typing this: about 30 hours to platinum -

this game is amazing, spectacular even it didn't need a remaster but i am so glad it got one, the 60 fps is a great addition to the overall feel of the swinging and combat and graphically it was nice seeing some improvements
my run of the original was pretty short due to the time limit put on me by ps now so i didn't get to appreciate the game fully like i do now
i can't write a proper review that wouldn't just be me gushing about the little things that make this game so good, we all know about the great 60 fps swinging, gets better once you master it and can use it completely at its max speed and skills to the point where you really do feel like spider-man but oh my god the combat is so fun once you actually start using gadgets and different moves, off the wall attacks, swinging kicks and most triangle inputs can lead for some cool looking fights especially once you unlock every gadget
this game's music is pretty good, nothing i would go "BEST SOUNDTRACK OF ALL TIME" but there's some amazing tracks like "destroying your own creation" and really underrated gems here like the saber outpost sneaking track
the story itself is pretty alright, it works for an unique spider-man experience and i really didn't focus on it too much on it due to the superior gameplay, it does work well in the way you get to see characters you know slowly get to the dark point you know they'll go
on that note, martin li is done really well in this game and is definitely one of my favorite characters featured in one of my favorite missions, the final fight vs mr negative is some of the most fun i had playing a game in a while the story, gameplay and immersion shines in that entire chapter
most of the best chapters in this game are mainly focused on mr negative with the exception of the finale and the sinister six prison break out
and on the topic of characters, the voice acting and characters in this game are AMAZING
yuri lowenthal is an amazing adult peter parker and he really shines when interacting with the rest of the cast
his small jokes through the game, just that charming fun attitude but serious and heartbreaking when needed to be. lowenthal was just so good in this game he really gave it his all
my only nitpick that comes to mind is that the game doesn't allow you to go full stealth in wave missions, that's about it really
one of my favorite modern games and definitely one i look forward to getting more of
