A fun mobile game that stagnated and became infested with powercreep and units that are essential to summon for resources to maintain your preferred units.

A fitting evolution of the Fire Emblem series, but suffers from an annoying overworld, bad class system and wonky presentation. It is absolutely worth going through, even if it can drag a bit.

The next step forward in gameplay and technical performance, but an insipid experience in terms of writing, tone and art direction.

Aged well for a Famicom first entry of a long running franchise, but is still very archaic overall.

A game that I respect immensely, but will probably never play again.

One of Fire Emblem's most insane entries from a game design perspective, if there was just a bit more character writing and less potential for bricking a run, this would be a 5-star for sure.

My second favorite game of all time, Monster Rancher 4 is a fun simulation/RPG hybrid with a massive amount of hidden depths, I even run tournaments of it online.

I wish I could like this game, but I don't have any fun actually playing it.

A surprisingly fun mobile roguelike take on a Monster Rancher title, it has the average trappings of a gacha title, and an overreliance of MR 1/2 nostalgia in particular, but It is gratifying to raise a quick monster and build up your resources.

This game was legendary, It sucks that Blizzard killed it only to release a botched remake.

It's the best a game can get with mid gameplay. It has a healthy amount of content, good, iconic satire and visuals that were fantastic for the platform. It even has robust multiplayer!

A game that I like a lot about, but don't, like... actually enjoy playing.

It's somehow both peak fiction and offensively bad at the same time.

The campaign is too easy, and feels like it takes half of its run to even start.

The challenge mode however, saves this title and makes it really fun.

Chock full of content, polish and charm, weighed down by too much streamlining, making the game feel too easy due to overpowered mechanics (many of which are due to Oatchi) and an overabundance of intrusive dialogue.

A potential masterpiece that feels barely cut off from its full potential.
