Alchemy is okay, probably the worst from modern atelier. The removal of trait mixing and the way cost works in this game is a pretty big downgrade from Rorona. Combat is also nothing special but doesn't really do anything wrong.
This game however is primarily focused on exploration and character events, which is done very well.
Exploration is a little hard to enjoy fully because of the time limit, but fun nonetheless.
The license system was done very well and getting points from various sources and ranking up felt good & was fun to try to accomplish.
The characters and their friendship events are great. I really love Mimi especially.
While the game doesn't focus on story much, the little story there is towards the end with Totori's mother & the frontier village is really nice.
Last thing to say is, for some reason this game has much less QoL than Rorona despite releasing later. Very weird and some stuff was very annoying to not have access to.
Great game in general, Not the best for Atelier but has it's own charm for sure

Going for plat in this game is extremely stressful but the time management is very fun and satisfying when you make everything work. The side characters and their events are pretty good, Not the best in the series but they're nice. Music is great, esp in overtime FLASH FROST THANK YOUU

The cost system really grew on me once I started making my end-game gear it became really fun to work out cost on your gear to get all the traits you want. The super bosses in overtime are also very hard which makes the investment vs reward of making good gear perfect.

I had a lot of fun in the base game & I love Rorona so all her events were great, however once I got to overtime is when I started to really love this game. One year to just make the best gear possible and fight the super bosses, this was some of the most fun I've had in Atelier

While 6 could have very easily been the end for Kiryu I’m happy they gave more time to give him a satisfying send-off and finally pass the torch to Ichi for real. Both Ichi and Kiryu are so good in this game, their interactions with eachother mean the world to me.

Tomi, Chitose, and Yamai were all amazing additions to the cast, and Seonhee being a party member was great. Side content was pretty good and combat is one of my favorites. Music was good albiet not one of my favorite RGG soundtracks, there were a couple bangers

Story was clean, I love Shulk & Fiora. That finale was fantastic. OST is amazing. I like the gameplay at it's core but honestly think it wasn't really executed well, lots of small things I really don't like along with battles taking way too long

For a game that's main purpose is just to bridge the gap between 6 and 7 Gaiden really goes above and beyond and delivers an unforgettable Yakuza game experience. The entire game gives the sense that it's trying to make you recall Kiryu's journey so far through all the games and really makes you think about everything that happened to get here, and where Kiryu ended up. This game HURTS, Yakuza 6 ending is heartbreaking and this game just amplifies that feeling of emptiness seeing Kiryu's life after Y6. If Yakuza 6 is Kiryu's arc's final chapter, this feels like the epilogue, Truly saying goodbye to the "Yakuza arc" so far. The final battle is really representative of this and they really pulled out all the stops for it. Shishido really makes for an amazing final boss for the sendoff of the Yakuza arc, A man-to-man fight of ideals. A true old-fashioned yakuza, intent on fighting to the bitter end for himself, and Kiryu, the man who has gone through it all time and time again and gave up everything for the sake of others, putting an end to the yakuza once and for all. The final scene before the credits really broke me. This series means so much to me and Kiryu is definitely one of my favorite characters of all time. I just want to see him happy once when this is all over.

Bosses are super fun & most platforming is super well designed. They really did a lot with very simplistic mechanics. I hate save points which was pretty annoying here especially in the extra stage which I think is kinda poorly designed. I wish there was more to leveling up too

First off this is one of the most visually impressive games I've ever played, It's fucking beautiful in every department. The Eikon fights, mainly Titan and Bahamut are peak gaming, genuinely doesn't feel real. Clive, Jill, & Cid are amazing characters I love them all.
A lot of the main quests feel dragged out and kinda like filler, as well as the story itself not being super interesting and being carried by the boss fights and a couple emotional character moments.
Final boss is generic "JRPG god fight" but the fight itself was really good. I think the ending is garbage and really goes against the themes of the game which brings my opinion of the game down a lot

It's pretty much BOTW but better in every way. Shrines have more thought put into them, there's more to the map, dungeons are better than divine beasts. Biggest improvement is bosses going from mediocre/boring to really good. The story is great and the ending is peak. Only big complaint is that although the companion system is cool conceptually the execution could not have been worse.

Everything is really fun to do except the actual main story which is all pretty boring and a lot of the shrines are pretty copy paste

Super fun game and great prequel to Iris 1. Mostly every aspect has slight improvements over the first game. The encounter system is really cool and unique. The best part is the dual-scenario system, with both perspectives being super fun. This game also reminded me how much I loved Iris 1. This game is better in most ways but there are some things I like more in Iris 1, Like the atmosphere, and relationship between Lita and Klein (I wish Viese and Felt got some progression in the end) so I like them about the same.

Pretty fun game. Soundtrack is very good, combat system is really clean and there are a couple good bosses. The areas suck especially in the second half of the game which felt like a big downgrade with a lot of unnecessary tediousness and a couple awful bosses

Just fun as hell, going for all 120 stars is such a good experience you really explore the whole game and it never feels like too much.

Downgrade from Ryza 2, the key system is bad & story is boring, exploration is fun at the start and movement is super clean, the new girls are cute but it's annoying that Serri was forgotten about.
