The strongest in the gameplay department, but equally the weakest when it comes to narrative. To be fair they were never going to top Handsome Jack.

A hilarious adventure, even if your choices don't really matter.

Worth more than people give it credit. If we had more environmental variety it would be on par with the 2nd game.

This games potential was met with its sequels. So feel free to skip this one.

Playing as Krieg in solo play feels like the games true canon.

Parts are excellent, but its reliance on the narrative of the show (and the absence of these characters in this story once the game ends) really make this game forgettable.

Weird that the main character isn't Steve.

This is a remaster of my favorite racing game of all time. I have put hundreds of hours into this version, unlocked every character, experienced everything this game has to offer. I love this game.

BUT,

The practice of adding microtransactions after reviews/people buying the game will always be a scummy practice. This game is completely playable (and fun) without having to buy this stuff. Still something to be aware of.

2 stars is probably too generous tbh but this game gave us the abomination that was Rilla Roo. I will forever be conflicted in my feelings on this.

2015

I gave the game 1.5 stars because of the gamepad. 1 less gamepad = 1 less star.

I own the guidebook and I hide it under my bed when company is over.

An arcade journey through the mysterious world of Texas.

I can't believe there was a whole trend of games where everything was just grey and brown.....and we thought it looked good?!

A simple game that mostly gets by on its charm. A solid recommendation if you are looking for a light hearted game to break up your Halloween Horror-fest.
