Really satisfying gameplay, beautiful setting, solid story and characters. Suffers a little from open world game syndrome.

This was my introduction to the series off the back of the SBFP LP that had just started - RIP to the shitlords - and I've fallen in love with the series since.

It's a modern day evolution of your old school beat 'em up with a gripping crime drama as the main story, and also a bunch of completely insane and wacky shit that shows up in the side stories. Throw in two supremely compelling player characters in Kiryu and Majima, and the city of Kamurocho which is essentially a character on its own, and you have a recipe for greatness.

Best FPS campaign in the last decade outside of DOOM and its sequel.

Big ass JRPG with a million characters.

Falls into some typical JRPG tropes at times but most of the characters are solid and the combat system is a good time.

This game is fantastic.

The story is nothing to write home about, but that's not why you're here. The sheer amount of Gunpla customization available to you in terms of parts and skills is simply unmatched. Throw in gameplay that's somewhere halfway between a musou and a character action game and you have a game that feels incredibly good to play AND lets you tickle that part of your brain that likes it when the number goes up.

Wasn't released in the US but you can order the version online that has English subs and it works on US PS4s.

Nice looking walking sim with a fox. There's really not much here.

A really solid visual novel with a pretty decent story that goes some dark places. The RPG elements are really half baked and I wish they'd put more effort into them.

Also fuck Shuuji, all my homies hate Shuuji.

Solid superhero action game from Sucker Punch with great movement mechanics. Just short enough to keep from wearing out its welcome.

Now this is a pretty decent Diablo style game. Fun classes, solid gameplay, nothing story.

Mid Diablo style action RPG. I love these types of games normally - turning my brain off and grinding and making numbers go up is great relaxation. This one though, is slow, clunky, and aged very badly playing it in 2021/2022. The story is also nonexistent, even for one of these games.

I was craving a platformer when I played this, and had it in my library from PS+, so I gave it a shot. Full disclosure - I have no attachment to the show, never watched it as a kid. I was a Cartoon Network guy.

It's...ok? Kind of rough around the edges, felt super buggy at times. Not bad by any means but by the end I wanted it to be over because it had gotten kind of tedious.

A monster catcher crossed with a Metroidvania is a pretty neat concept, and this does a decent job of it.

The Metroidvania part is super basic, but it works overall. The real meat of the game is in the creature battles - they're 3v3 by default, and there are ton of team build and synergy options. If you like crunching numbers and building the most powerful team of hardass motherfuckers around, you'll like this game, because there are so many options to roll with.

It's another RGG Judgment game, very similar to the first with better combat due to more options. Felt like the school story side stuff dragged a lot, but YMMV because RGG side content can be hit or miss depending on my mood at the time of play.

If you liked the first one or like Yakuza games, you'll like this one. Tak and crew are great, Kaito is the best, and the antagonist is super interesting.

It's a collection of like 50 games, what else can I say?

I liked it more than Borderlands 3.

The gunplay is solid as always, Tina is Tina so YMMV, but this isn't the heartfelt story that the original DLC that spawned this had.

Also the DLCs are garbo.
