“ You came out to put your memories behind you and they're still right there in front of you.”

This is my second time playing Firewatch and I can without a doubt promise you it will not be my last.

The story of a man so wrought with grief and despair that he ventures out into the secluded wilderness so he can try and forget what he’s tried to leave behind. While there he meets another lookout on his radio named Delilah and they get wrapped up in a strange and twisty mystery.

The stunning visuals only compliment the already perfect story and create an environment that is just as serene as it is haunting.

The gameplay elements are surprisingly great for something so simple as a walking simulator. It’s very straightforward, but how it’s implemented is great imo.

Overall, Firewatch is simply fantastic in every way possible. A beautifully animated intimate and introspective game filled with just as much mystery as heart. Definitely a high recommendation from me.

This is a review for the campaign. It's like I've watched my childhood die right before my eyes. I unabashedly love the COD campaigns. They're simple stupid fun that I can just turn my brain off and play. This however was anything but that. It was Warzone, nothing but Warzone. It had a shit story, kill streaks, Field upgrades. THATS NOT A CAMPAIGN!!! COD:Black Ops Cold War was the last good campaign and I'll stand by that.

The multiplayer is outstanding though. 4.5/5 I'm having so much fun playing it. Hardpoint is fantastic, the maps are phenomenal. It's all great in that department.

A fantastic game recommendation from my good friend Peeps. Im usually not one for these gimmicky combat scenarios i.e QTE’s or rhythm based but I absolutely adored this!

The characters are lovable, the dialogue is quippy and the animation is nothing short of breathtaking.

The gameplay mechanics are awesome and the rhythm based combat didn’t feel gimmicky it felt fresh in a way. The boss battles were super fun and sometimes challenging.

Overall, it’s a fantastic game and I loved it. I hope we’ll get to see similar games from this developer again. I don’t necessarily want to see a sequel because I think the ending was perfect but another game with this animation style would be great.

Never got to play this back in the day but now, I wish I had sooner. One of the best COD campaigns out there and a true blast to play. You can even still get multiplayer games which is cool. Definitely worth picking up on a Xbox sale when and if you can.

Played around 20 hours and while it's not a bad game per say, I just couldn't get into it. There is some good story here but a lot of it is overshadowed by bland side missions.

The combat is crisp and unlike Fallout there's no risk of running out of ammo.

The loading screens and not being able to land on planes wasn't a big deal, the undocking and take off cutscenes messed with me. I didn't want to take off in to space but I would have liked the ability to stay in my first person ship view and feel/see my ship lift off the ground and then go into the cutscene. Same with undocking from ships.

Overall though, I didn't hate Starfield. It just ultimately ended up not being my thing.

Gameplay was amazing but just like the Max Payne movie the story was very meh. The constant lens flare was annoying as well. Overall though it’s a fun game.

Played this through again for probably the 10th time. It so fun and easy to do, I just couldn’t pass up the chance. It’s the first shooter game I ever played and for that reason it holds a special place in my heart. I love the campaign to death and it’s probably the best COD campaign ever.

“Look at how they massacred my boy.” Was the exact words I said as I played this game. The shooting is fine but the voice acting, story and character models are so boring and bad that I had to stop playing. This is not the Mass Effect I know. I do not recommend

Been playing this with MrPPeeps: https://www.backloggd.com/u/MrPPeeps/

I’m having an absolute blast playing this with him. I love all the different classes and how you can experiment with different attachments to create the best weapon. It’s not too cumbersome and unrealistic like shitty WarZone.

To me it feels like a more grounded R6 Siege. While this is an online multiplayer game and I can’t really critic it I will say that once you’ve got the learning curve down, the game is an absolute blast. I’ve had a few glitches but other than that it’s perfect.

4.5/5

Gears of War was recommended to me by my good friend Peeps. You can find his profile here:https://www.backloggd.com/u/MrPPeeps/

Gears of War is apparently his all time favorite game franchise and when he heard that I had only played half of the 3rd game, he begged me to play through the series. While I really enjoyed this game I have a handful of gripes.

I really enjoyed the story and the characters. The story was enthralling and the characters were all great

My gripes with the game come from two aspects. For one I hated the sprinting in this game! Utterly despised it. It adds a fixed camera angle and your mobility when sprinting is terrible. I had more than one death attributed to the terrible sprinting. The next complaint I have is more of a personal complaint. I hated the level with the uv turret. I just hate levels like that. The next level wasn't as bad but I still have my problems with it. Those are really the only complaints I have.

Overall, I did really enjoy this game, it's got a few issues but its definitely one of the better Xbox exculsives.

4/5

I decided to finish playing Fallen Order in preparation for Survivor.

I really liked Fallen Order. It's got a great story and some fun combat. My inly real gripe is that on an almost pristine PS4 the games frame rate dropped multiple times along with taking too much time for the textures to pop in. I really only experienced that on Dathomir but it still irked me.

Overall, I'd recommend. It's definitely one of the better Star Wars games out there and I'm looking forward to the sequel.

Bioshock 2 is an interesting entry into the series. While I don't quite like the plot as much as Bioshock 1, I think 2's story was better executed.

The combat in both games is a bit weird though. You could max out a weapon at the upgrade station and it would still take nearly all you ammo to kill a large enemy. Me personally, I would prefer it take like half a magazine.

Overall, though I think that Bioshock 2 is a great entry into the franchise and it has me extremely excited to play Infinite.

4/5

My 5th favorite game of all time. The story, the characters, the gameplay is all 10/10. If you haven't played this game do it. It's even better in VR

Such a great game. I really wish they would make more so they could properly conclude the story

Me and my dad would constantly play this together. I have some amazing memories with this game. Wish they would do a remaster or re release.
