Good game despite performance issues. The final level was a pretty gruelling boss gauntlet. Great post-game stuff too.

Total middle of the road AC game. It's almost comical how bad these games are at telling stories, the pacing is utter piss. Still, sailin' and whalin' are still very fun.

Excellent modern sequel. Some slight irritations but this package is way too slick to be held back.

Really clever little puzzler though it took my brain a while to catch up!

Surprised how much I enjoyed this given my distaste for the first game. The shorter length definitely helped even though the amount of garbage open-world activities was still off-putting. Enjoyable regardless.

Cute Megaman riff with a killer art style and soundtrack. Also: cheap!

Not bad but a never quite clicked with me. Seemed a bit too into its own (pretty dull) story. Nice combat though. Moving to Transistor next.

A mixed bag. As a refresh of the Assassin's Creed series that actually focuses on assassinations there's a lot of good here. However the trademark terrible storytelling and ludicrously large open-world still makes this a bit of a slog. Really enjoyed the variety of side-quests though and it's quite lovely to look at.

Excellent slice of Bioshock, maybe the tightest package they've ever made? Loved revisiting this.

Switch version felt like a miracle.

Lovely little text adventure, good writing but not as compelling as Bithell's Subsurface Circular.

Replayed after many years. Enjoyable slice of Rapture storytelling but damn does it show how stripped back Infinite was in terms of mechanics.

Enjoyable walking sim with some underused puzzle elements. Crappy ending but since its a very short game anyway you won't be left mad.

The game equivalent of a pop-up book, really beautifully crafted and genuinely touching. Really worth a play.

Played enough to "get" it. Love the music and all but this kind of exhibition drains me in art galleries as well as in a game. Cool thing to exist anyway.

A fun romp spoiled by some of the worst writing and general storytelling in gaming. Made me appreciate Naught Dog's efforts a bit more, this is diabolical nonsense.
