didn't click with my brain the same way the hexcell games did.

a bit high brow for me. i feel like a lot of it was lost on me.

2016

had a rough time with the game in the beginning. i kept getting lost on maps, and spent a long time trying to figure out where i was supposed to go. i found my groove eventually with the game, but by the time I clicked with it, I was on the last stage of the game.

a huge weight is lifted off my shoulders, now i can finally say ive finished this fuckin game.

i like the game conceptually. playing it feels bad though.. wasn't a fan of the gameplay loop that it presents.

2020

felt like the game did not respect my time if that makes any sense. menuing takes forever, traversing the world takes forever, battles take forever, etc. A lot of just...filler in terms of the story. There's no reason for this game to be 20 hours long. I feel like the story would've had a much bigger impact on me if I wasn't just so tired of playing this game.

Combat in this game was surprisingly very interesting for me, something I was not expecting. I wish there was more reasons though for me to experiment with other strategies besides the one I felt was strongest.

Not what i was expecting, a game not for me.

good time, my only complaint is that there are missable items during the missions, which will lower your detective score, and lock you out of some of the extra story puzzles. The only way to unlock these story puzzles would be to replay the story mission again.

this game sucks ass to play, but all the character stuff is enjoyable. watch a playthrough/cutscene compilation on youtube and move on.

got stuck a couple of times, even with the hint system in place. never wouldv'e figured it out without a walkthrough. i greatly enjoyed my time with this game still.

never played a picross game that would make you mark down which rows/columns you finished manually. they really lived like that back then huh.

i didn't have the patience to play with all the music stuff, but a beautiful game. good mood.
