I had already played DMC 4 and 5 but never gave a chance to DMC 3. When my brother bought it for the Nintendo Switch, I decided to give it a try, and holy shit, this game is amazing. It quickly became my favorite Devil May Cry game. I really like how short the game is, which allowed me to complete it multiple times on different difficulties.
The combat may not be as stylish as DMC 5 and 4, and I didn't use the free style feature in the Switch version that allows you to change styles mid-battle because i still had to level up the styles. However, the story is by far the best that the Devil May Cry series has to offer. The missions are simple and fun to play, and the bosses are incredible.

I didn't play many Final Fantasy games growing up, but I decided to give Final Fantasy X a try after beating Final Fantasy IV. As a kid, every store I passed by that sold PS2 games had Final Fantasy X, and I always found it interesting. After completing it, the game didn't disappoint. Among the Final Fantasy games I've played, it has the best narrative.
The mechanic of switching characters mid-battle is one of my favorites in all turn-based games. In other turn-based games, I often have to choose a preferred party and some characters end up being forgotten and underleveled. However, with the ability to change characters mid-combat, all characters feel special and needed when the time comes.
The only thing that bothers me in battles is the slow animations, but this can be "fixed" with the fast-forward option available in the PC port. The Celestial Weapons are challenging but fun to obtain and upgrade. The only ones that really bothered me were having to dodge 200 lightning bolts to get the sigil for Lulu's Celestial Weapon and having to spend hours playing blitzball to get the sigil for Wakka's Celestial Weapon.

It's a beautiful game. The colossi are incredibly creative and defeating them is both fun and epic. Observing them and figuring out how to take them down was a thrilling experience. The soundtrack is amazing, and the plot is pretty good too. After beating the game, it becomes even more fun with the Time Attack Mode and the items you unlock playing it.
