I love platformers that have a dive jump. It might have gone a world too long for me and boss levels being the exact same everytime didn't help that feeling. They really didn't need to add the memes in...

It was pretty cool how you attach the islands to progress and enter "new" areas. There are 60 "upgrades" as the main collectible and seems like most of them are random while also looking like this. It looks way off compared to anything else in the game and I feel like it was added last minute but eh. Bosses weren't the best with the final one being probably the worst just a mishmash of nearly every other boss you fought. Their next game just from the demo alone was way more enjoyable.

Nice short little experience of piecing together 50 bandmates. May have been a bit too easy with how they spell out a lot of the names but I'm a sucker for these games.

Kind of disappointing trials with them all being the same.

Pretty good and it wasn't bloated to many more hours like others similar to it.

Short little puzzle game that tries to look like a gameboy game. Other than it not liking how I walked in the ice world making me wait for an entire animation to slowly play out it was a nice time. Cool little bonus levels after the main game too but man does it get old to go back for water everytime.

Why remove the boss mode from the demo...It's a huge shame they also pulled a Pseudoregalia.

I'm so glad I can play these now and read them too. It's like 2 new brand games from Capcom but instead they're too busy trying to forget about Taisen. Played on PC for PoN but the emulator could use some work since the sound glitches a lot. Hopefully the new one comes out soon or I'll just have to try on steam deck where it's reported to be better?

What a miserable time it was getting the final chip for all PAs. AquaTwr3 S only drops from rank 10-S on 1 specific encounter in the final secret area and you also don't have lock enemy like other games. It involves killing a HardHeadSP on a holypanel and 2 other unique enemies further skewing your drop chance by 1/3. Every other tower variant has multiple encounters or just aren't part of the PAs. Now just me being salty but wish we got a lock enemy instead of bustermax... (whole other big issue with rereleases of Megaman games in general)

Come to find out there isn't even anything after getting all the stars. No extra stars with a special code, no new boss forms and not even a credits picture. Did they think no one would buy all the chapters and 100% on a phone?

Holy shit these have online ranking built in and it got implemented here. Each month there's a set 10 rounds of viruses and you're scored on these criteria. Did a few attempts with my post game folder so I'm sure it could be refined more and it does kind of depend on your draws but damn this is sick. Imagine a new game with more restrictions like mb chip limits, specific folders, damage maximums, etc. Capcom will just make it have no crossplay.

It's a shame that it didn't turn out as well for me. I felt like being able to choose the ending part just ruins it, and only having one case makes this feel bad.

In one ear, out the other ear. At least it wasn't bad.

The best of the trio with perfect sized levels. I really liked the penultimate one (Hoover Dam), and the increased difficulty in general was welcome. I'd say it's the closest this ever got to Shadow Warrior.

This kind of ends with a whimper (honestly, the entire game was underpowered?). and I felt like the vehicles weren't really needed. It's still the same as the first game, so don't expect something too different. I'd probably put it below the first one for me. It will be interesting to see what that expansion does since it came out after the sequel.

Man, the bosses still suck real bad here. Half of them are the same eyeball that dies so quick or gimmick fights. The latter are at least unique, even if they are mostly joke ones too. It would have been much better if they were all like the gimmick ones. Multiple runs will feel way too similar, with the same bad bosses and all the permanent area-ending upgrades being the same. Unsure if it was intentional to match how bad the dubs were, but so much of the subtitles and translation are off from what's actually voiced. Mullet needs to learn how to shut up even if you don't pick up that perk. It's a nice little game I guess. Maybe I'll go back to it later.
