It's a shame that it didn't turn out as well for me. I felt like being able to choose the ending part just ruins it, and only having one case makes this feel bad.

In one ear, out the other ear. At least it wasn't bad.

The best of the trio with perfect sized levels. I really liked the penultimate one (Hoover Dam), and the increased difficulty in general was welcome. I'd say it's the closest this ever got to Shadow Warrior.

This kind of ends with a whimper (honestly, the entire game was underpowered?). and I felt like the vehicles weren't really needed. It's still the same as the first game, so don't expect something too different. I'd probably put it below the first one for me. It will be interesting to see what that expansion does since it came out after the sequel.

Man, the bosses still suck real bad here. Half of them are the same eyeball that dies so quick or gimmick fights. The latter are at least unique, even if they are mostly joke ones too. It would have been much better if they were all like the gimmick ones. Multiple runs will feel way too similar, with the same bad bosses and all the permanent area-ending upgrades being the same. Unsure if it was intentional to match how bad the dubs were, but so much of the subtitles and translation are off from what's actually voiced. Mullet needs to learn how to shut up even if you don't pick up that perk. It's a nice little game I guess. Maybe I'll go back to it later.

Short linear maps, and it's actually different! What a refreshing take on Quake 2.

Much higher enemy count, but inflated with turrets. I've played so many shooters at this point and done a lot of expansions right after, but Q2 feels the most repetitive out of all of them. There really is hardly any style difference between each of them, and I need to meet the person who can recall all of it after a few days. It's still not bad, but it just sucks when the base game is pretty good.

A couple of new weapons that were pretty bad and just a bit harder than the base game. It's still the same where it bleeds intoself for me but fuck what a tedious first level.

Bear with me on this one, but it is similar to One Step from Eden. It takes a part of the Pokemon experience and just brings it down to the "combat." In doing so, it misses a lot of the actual series, but it also attracts a new audience. It will never stand up to the original series IMO. Did they really need to add gacha though.

I only cleared classic (it could have been 50 floors shorter) a couple of times and did a few dailies so I'm not going to rate this one. I'm not sure how else to do it, but this has a lot more metaprogression than I expected. I am interested to see how Emerald Rogue differs now when I get to it. While a lot of things are still broken and I don't know how any of this works, it's pretty impressive to just be a browser game.

Not as bad as people make it seem. But just like Quake it's unmemorable levels just blend into each other.

A twin-stick shooter 2D Zelda. I really liked how you can downgrade to change up your stats, and showing your boost on the ship is cool. One of the bosses had like 7 phases and it was pretty funny.

It starts off great, but the last world just becomes a slog since they couldn't trust people to not get bored of the core gameplay. I was going through all the time trials, but then I remembered I would have to do the last world again. I wish I liked this more to continue.
