Great game, but has ups and downs.
Some phases are the best of the franchise, really fun and creative, and the many characters that you play, each one different from the other is great as well. But the level design of most of the stages is terrible, is too big with many open areas, you can't even see the enemies and took a shot, this game has more gun fire than the first game, so is bullet all the time. It's frustrating, and the stages are too long, you feel really tired after some of them.
It's sad because the mechanics, the gameplay, the flow, everything is better than the first one, but because of these points it is feels like the worst.
The story is also great, another positive point, but I will not talk about it to avoid spoilers.

Super Metroid
This games is incredible, even after 30 years, the feeling of playing the game is greatiful, the game design, the enimies, the powers and how you progress on game, all it's awsome, on the end of the game you feel trully powerfull and it's very funny walk around the maps.
Of negative points is sometimes I feel stuck in some areas, the secret passages is hard to find, or the passage, and the water part of the game without the gravity suit is very frustrating
