core memory i have with this game is trying to figure out how long the haruto part is and then finding a gamefaqs post of a dude threatening to quit playing because haruto won't shut up

do not let the blockuza 3 mafia fool u, this is peak, every single complaint i hear about this games combat is always "ooo it doesn't feel good without upgrades" but it literally never does in any yakoozer game, and they don't figure that problem out until judgment. they also got the "guy dual wielding pistols" boss archetype right that kiwami would get wrong 7 years later.

Easily the worst game in the series, they were still figuring out the dragon engine so combat is clunky at its worst and "oh lmao funny ragdoll" at it's best. they also put a really ugly puke green filter on the entire game that you can only get rid of via mods on the PC release.

This game has like 40000 unskippable tutorials for some of the most boring and basic minigames you will ever play. I know how karaoke works man just let me go punch people.

its basically like the first game but with 10x more piss jokes for some reason? there's an option to turn it off but i imagine that turns off like 90% of the events in the game. It's really hard to sit through a whole game of this with friends without tapping out halfway through because you've had to read 80 paragraphs about being pissed on aloud

I will wait as long as I have to for the sequel and I will absolutely replay this every single year day by day until then.

This game is not scary at all but sometimes that's exactly what I want from my horror games. Super creative and it's a bummer it never got an official NA release

This series gets a lot of shit but if any of the games are worth playing its probably this one, story kind of drags, especially towards the end, but a majority of the mystery and actual "game" parts are competent, strictly as a VN is maybe like a 2.5 but as a video game is a 3.5
